NEW JERSEY (WPIX) — A freshman at Rutgers University is believed to have committed suicide after he was secretly taped by two other students during a sexual encounter, police said. The video was allegedly broadcast on the internet.

I think you are correct. Thsi is probably waht happened. We will see it on Law and Order. I dumped TV a year ago and will not be going back.

Some people think I support this kid’s lifestyle. I don’t. He was, from what we can tell, a 18 year old freshmen. The two that did this should be hammered by the law. He should not have killed himself but it is really sad.

Can you imagine if it was the (very white and American) Duke LaCrosse team’s camera. The whole team would be lynched from the Geo Washington bridge this afternoon.

This thread sounds like a DU parody of a Freeper thread. I love how some are assuming that the two perps here are illegals based on their foreign names. I seem to recall going to college with a few asian girls and indian guys who weren’t illegals. Also any conservative should be dead set against spying on people in their dorm room for no purpose other than laughs and exploitation. Agreed, I don't hate gay people and like most, have them in my family. That does NOT preclude me from identifying their wickedness. Forcing me to accept their lifestyle as normal human behavior is a liberal argument.

No, I'm not concerned about the young man. He is dead by his own actions and this is what happens when you put your tongue in another dude's mouth. That said, the two who videotaped the incident should be prosecuted but not for the young man's death.

According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan, it is a fourth-degree crime to collect or view images depicting nudity or sexual content of an individual without that person’s consent. The crime becomes a third-degree offense if the images are transmitted or distributed.

If convicted, Ravi and Wei face up to five years in jail.
