I believe the Gummint will eventually require Onstar devices on all vehicles, so that they can dictate how many days/week I can drive my Gas-Guzzling, CO2 emitting, Global warming causing, evil and immoral SUV. Benefits to the Police state will come as a happy side benefit.

So a private citizen can put one of these on some politicians car, and it is legal? If not, why not?

Yasir Afifi returned to the United States alone in 2008, while his father and brothers stayed in Egypt, to further his education he said.

Or to get closer to future targets, maybe a few flying lessons? But that bad FBI is actually watching some one on the watch list.

I see many here have raised there hands in favor of having Gorelick's Wall rebuilt. Short memories.

demanded the return of their property

It seems to me that they gave the GPS tracker to this guy. If they didn't want to have it, they shouldn't have stuck it on his car.

At least they could have put a sticker on it saying, "This item is the property of the FBI. If you find it, please call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx."

That investigators don't need a warrant to use GPS tracking devices in California....

Note to the left: So much for principle, eh?

Yasir is here, dar-al-harb, on a mission to undermine the National Security of the US.

I’m not sorry Koranimal. You believe in sharia law & the is in direct conflict w the US Constitution.

I have NO RIGHTS in sharia & you have no rights as my enemy.

Then don’t let him in. Then, if he’s found, he’s in violation of US law and we can arrest/imprison him.

By letting him in and then tracking him on a claim that he is ‘dangerous’ lets the government use that excuse for *ANYONE* that could possibly end up as ‘dangerous’.

Like militias, global warming deniers, those that oppose the ruling party’s continued rule, etc.

FR has changed a lot lately. A few years ago, there would have been knee-jerk anti-Muslim comments within the first three replies. Wow...there are actually conservatives here now.

The issue is a lack of a warrant and therefore probable cause. Being a member of a fascist based religion certainly plays into probable cause. Just don't forget to get that warrant.

I said your wife can put one on your car.

I would think that attaching one to someone else’s property would get you in trouble.

Can it be done? Yes easily. Is it legal? I think not.

I believe you are correct, It is coming.

Now here is a story, I don’t condone it but here is the story.

A good friend of mine bought a new Chevy with Onstar. He went out and got a bit plastered. He ran the car into the ditch and the air bag went off.
He told me he sat there a couple of minutes getting himself together and when he opened the door the police officer was standing next to the car. Summoned by the onstar.

It’s coming.

Here’s a thought:

Have you ever considered that “they” may put that device on your car to protect you while you’re driving about b/c the “other” they may be tracking you?

Also- They’re already here and there’s no need to look for him at the border.

No offense intended, but I can’t make heads or tails out what you wrote. Can you repost it in a slightly different way?

If Muslims aren't the real problem, how does one explain that they are the predominant source of populace-oppression and glory-killing on the planet Earth?

The real problem is global. It's insanely excessive movements of people, both legally and illegally, into formerly civilized nations that used to have western civilization.

Does this explain Muslim atrocities in Indonesia, Egypt, Chechnya et al?

The blending of cultures and attempts to democratize some of these situations doesn't help. I have no trouble with Muslim culture, in Muslim lands. We should get out of their countries, and there should be next to no immigration into the US from anywhere, at least until we get our act together.

And I personally think it's kind of conservative (in the real sense) to say no US soldier should get so much as a scraped knee so Afghani girls can learn to read or whatever.

That was the crux of my question. If the police can do it without a warrant, why can’t any citizen do it without a warrant to any other person? If it is illegal for a citizen to do it to another citizen, then why wouldn’t those same legal issues apply to police who did not have a warrant?

Actually, you’ve got it.

They - FBI - attach “it” to your car because Yassir & Co have done the same using your Cell transmission to locate you.

Bait. Hook. Sinker.

It’s a Round Robin. All one needs is your cell # & $50 to follow you.

“Some of us would even say it’s US global over reach and stupid war-mongering that is a real cause for the terrorism some Muslims (and others) exhibit.”

I’m sorry but that is oh so wrong on oh so many levels. Those of you that believe that really don’t understand the situation. Anyone who has spent 20 minutes or more researching Islam understands what their goal is and nothing we do or say will change it.

IMO it isn’t, but unfortunately I think about fairness and justice, and todays judges don’t seem to have that failing.
