Which Campaigns Should I Support/Best Bang for the Buck
10/21/10 | self

Since my funds are limited, here are my criteria:

1) Good shot at winning, though not a sure thing, and

2) Critical race either because the Democrat candidate is particularly evil, or has seniority and an important committee position, or symbolically important ie: Ted Kennedy seat

I intend to donate to five races

Thanks for your help

Check out the Club for Growth website and look at their recommendations.

“Raese in West Virginia, O’Donnell in Delaware, and even *gag* Kirk in Illinois are important because they’ll be seated immediately and thus able to help fend off the liberals in the lame deck session.”

Excellent point.

I may break my own rule (has a shot) and give to Michel Faulkner. I really like him and hate Rangel.

“Dingell has been in the Senate for eons. “

My bad.

Dingell isn’t in the Senate but the House.

I agree on the third criteria - no huge war chest.

is that why no one is recommending Linda McMahon in Connecticut?

McMahon, Fiorina and O’Donnel have huge war chest, I think.

NC-7 Pantano

My mom met him up close and personal; verrrryy sharp, smart fella...we need him in there. Some NCers are being told by the left he’s a carpetbagger from NJ; well, he loves NC and made home there after the service. The guy wants to help.

Pat Toomey in PA. He’s falling back a bit. Should still win, but needs a nice last-minute ad blitz to keep the union thugs at bay and pull off a solid enough win to avert fraud and/or recount fiascos.

Consider South Carolina's Mick Mulvaney, running against John Spratt, who's been in Congress forever and is Chair of the House Budget Committee. Spratt's a key Pelosi ally. His reelection has been considered safe, but it's not. Losing Spratt and this seat would be a very big loss to the Rats. It's a tossup at 46% each, with 9% undecided, so Mulvaney has a very good chance at beating Spratt.

Mick Mulvaney in SC-05.

We have a chance to unseat the House Budget Committee Chairman, John Spratt in our state.

This guy has been hiding as a “Moderate” for 28 years, but the people in his district have seen the light. Votes over 97% with Pelosi. His Town Halls have been brutal for him. Unemployment in the district was over 20% in past months. It won’t take much to tip him over, but Mulvaney needs to finish strong.

Mick has been endorsed by Sara Palin, Newt Gingrich, the Club for Growth, and the NRCC.

His opponent, John Spratt, has been supported big time by SEIU, and every other Progressive interest group you can imagine.

Please help us send John Spratt home.

1) Good shot at winning, though not a sure thing, and

>>>>>

#1) Col Chris Gibson has a very good shot in NY20

#2) Symbolically important as this was a RED district for years. Current Dem is a Pelosi BlueLapDog who switched his vote, and she is sending big$$ his way...including her own$

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2611774/posts
The KeyHouseRaces Candidate of the Day is Chris Gibson (NY-20)

FRegards, Kate
