TSA Opt-Out Day, Now with a Superfantastic New Twist! (Men, wear a kilt, no underwear)
The Atlantic ^ | November 14th, 2010 | Jeffrey Goldberg

But come November 24th, here's an idea you might try to make the day extra-special. It's a one-word idea: Kilts. Think about it -- if you're a male, and you want to bollix-up the nonsensical airport security-industrial complex, one way to do so would be to wear a kilt. If nothing else, this will cause TSA employees to throw up their hands in disgust. If you want to go the extra extra mile, I suggest commando-style kilt-wearing. While it is probably illegal to fly without pants, I can't imagine that it's illegal to fly without underpants.

TSA really has no option but to push for stronger security to the point of being pushed back by the public.

What makes you think that groping pre-teen girls has anything to do with "stronger security?"

They can't even keep people on the no-fly list coming from known terrorist countries on a cash-purchased one-way ticket off the planes, so what really is the point of all this virtual strip-search and grope BS?

Right. The real bomb will be safely lodged inside somebody’s body - probably the hijab-clad woman waltzing right through all the so-called “security” procedures.

This isn’t about real security.

After reading about the guys who had the TSA screener reach into their pants and feel all the way around their body, including one who was felt directly on his skin inside his underwear, I actually wonder if they are trying to arouse (no pun intended) a violent response. There is no way this is about genuine security.

They wouldn't have the foggiest idea what to do

Time for some false flag incidents to occur.

J-Nap sez "See, we told you it would work!"

“They wouldn’t have the foggiest idea what to do if they actually ever found a real bomb, though that’ll never happen so I guess they’re off the hook.”

And you work for NSA or Security or another Alphabet so you know this for a fact, eh?

Tell them you’re a Muslim transvestite.

Speaking of weird things, the University of Chicago recently sent out an email questionnaire about food services on campus. They asked whether the respondent was staff, student, or professor and then asked the respondent to select "Male, Female, or Transgendered." As though transgendered is a significantly large enough portion of the population with special dietary orientation to warrant soliciting input.

Male TSA: Do you have anything in your pockets or any implants I should be aware of?

Male Passenger: No

Male TSA: I'm going to be doing a inner thigh inspection on you today since you elected to Opt Out. Are you wearing anything under your kilt?

Male Passenger: Just your wife's lipstick

I thought maybe the fabric of the hijab could say, “Screw you, Janet Napolitano”, or the word “Dhimmitude” crossed out with the cross-hairs symbol, or something like that.

I want a tee-shirt that has the words "You can't touch my junk" and a crescent and star on it.

It means that for one day they will be required to have tacos and hot dogs on the same day.

No, the concept is for EVERYONE to opt-out. Think the planes are going to take off empty, or even half full?

Bring the entire system to a screeching halt and things will change!

Look at how the TSA has been escalatiing things. If we don’t stop this now, what’s next?

Or are you looking forward to your cavity search next month?

I think the idea is to rely on machines, and have the humans for backup. Much better to have the machines and use them to reinforce and back up a human’s intuition and training.

Are suggesting they are profiling? RACIST!!!

Great idea. I could sell those.

I thought maybe a pair of shorts that has a little music-box type button that plays “Can’t Touch This” that’s strategically located so the TSA agent would be sure to set it off during the screening. Scare the crap out of them, hopefully. lol

The possibilities are endless. I suppose the bureaucrats would find some way to keep it from being profitable, but it could be such great fun.

An Israeli guy (can’t remember his name) who was once involved in overseeing Israel’s airport security was on Fox this weekend. He made the perfect distinction between our airport security measures and those of Israel. He said that “The U.S. screens for objects that may be dangerous, Israel screens for people that may be dangerous.” About says it all.

These measures have little to nothing to do with safety.

Somebody posted a thread of an article about that guy. The closing line basically says things will change in US’ security only when the public DEMANDS that it changes, and that Americans tend to just do what they’re told to do because they don’t know any different.

We can laugh about the stuff that could be done to make life so miserable for the TSA screeners that they demand change, but it sounds like Israel got what they have only because Israelis would not put up with what Israeli leadership initially tried to put them through.

If we want them to take security seriously we have to push back until they actually hear us.
