Giving tax cuts to the rich is Republicans holy grail, President Obama said Tuesday.
Let me say that on the Republican side, this is their holy grail, these tax cuts for the wealthy, Obama told reporters. It seems to be their central economic doctrine.

No kidding. see my tag line
His tongue starts wagging and his brain tries desperately to catch up to no avail.
I really don’t get this anymore. Paying X% of your income that gets taken and pieced out in tidbits for anything other than defense is merely arguing about who eats first...and best. If it were anything else, 100% of lottery takings WOULD actually go to education.
How right you are. Obama is a real sad ass loser. His delusions of grandeur are only surpassed by the falsehoods he believes he has sold to the American public. Obozo is most likely on more shrink pills then any real combat vet ever was. The clown looks and acts like no election ever happened, and; Pelosi and Reed must be on his drugs, too. They look like the prozac kids.
If they were smart (and there is very little evidence that they are) the pubbie leadership would take ownership of that quote and say "Yes! Keeping taxes low on the most productive part of our small business economy is extremely important to the prosperity of this entire nation."
And they'd keep saying it loudly over and over until after 2012.
My holy grail is a Flat Tax of under 10%

I might believe the Left if people like 0bama, Kerry, Schumer, Pelosi, Kennedy, Rockefeller, Winfrey, Gates, Buffet, Soros, Gore, Clinton(s), Bloomberg, McCain, Huffington and T Turner GAVE THEIR WEALTH AND EXTRA HOUSES AWAY.
For “the children.” Not their income. Their accumulated wealth.
He is already cathcing hell from the DUmmies. Just in case you don’t read the DUmmie FUnnies, check out the DU links on the FR thread below.
Please define wealthy. A real answer please... don't deflect.
cathcing = catching
His remarks and attitude pealed 80 pts off a stock market rally fueld by the tax compromise.
His whole attitude was will still have the same agenda.
I don’t have access to TV here, but would have loved to watch him. I was checking the live thread earlier.
That's a risk both sides have to take. I can tell you right now that our plant is hiring, but can't get many qualified takers because unemployment pays better after expenses. So patience in some sectors is already starting to wear thin.
On the plus side, since the best qualified are turning us down due to extended unemployment insurance, some of the less qualified are getting opportunities to fill these jobs which they otherwise may not have received.
"It's only a model..."
Obama and the Dems unholy grail is abortion.
And they’re proud of it.
Question: Can we withstand the damage his loony fascist Executive Orders, Czars, and RAT judges will cause during the next two years?”________________________________________
If that is not a rhetorical question, I will propose that we have a chance at diverting a catastrophe when the likes of Republican leadership starts a philosophical war against marxism and actually shows up for the battle, starting with refusing to compromise on SPENDING, which sadly, they just DID on extending Obama’s desire for perpetuating a permanent underclass with these unemployment benefits.
What about the Maine twins, Collins & Snowe, and now even Tom Couburn got rough on the edges opposing the “rich” staying at the same tax rate. IF, the economy improves, it’s Obama who will take the credit in 12, (among the Independents) according to Varney, FOX news, and the class warfare card is going to get played big time.
Texas and Massachusetts are the same. There really is no difference! /MAJOR sarcasm
Waiting for the whining and gnashing of teeth over spending cuts that are coming!
