12 feet tall is impressive, but
“8-feet tall” not really.
6’11” is considered perfectly normal today - that’s only 13% less than 8ft.
We tend to take height in a very personal way.
Another 200 years of good nutrition & we’ll probably be considering nearly 8’ tall to be normal... again.

They’re going to have to revise the text books. Aren’t the schools currently teaching that the white man took the land from the Indians?

Among the thousands of artifacts recovered from this site of an unknown people is what some scientists are convinced is a calendar: a donut-shaped stone with exactly 365 notches carved along its outside rim and 52 corresponding notches along the inside.

So, cannibalism is another practice that the “indigenous peoples”engaged in, and therefore somehow less “European” and more “organic?”. Can reparations and equal protection under the law for this “alternative lifestyle” be far away?

their ancestors' battles with a ferocious race of white, red-haired giants. According to the Paiutes, the giants were already living in the area. Not all the tall, redheaded, cave men died out.

More here:
WHO WERE THE SI-TE-CAH?
"Note the cranial similarities between this Lovelock Cave skull discovered in the 1920's and the Kennewick Man sketch by Jamie Chatters"
The 'Stick Man' Cometh (Kennewick Man's Cousin?)
Vintage Skulls
The oldest human remains found in the Americas were recently "discovered" in the storeroom of Mexico's National Museum of Anthropology. Found in central Mexico in 1959, the five skulls were radiocarbon dated by a team of researchers from the United Kingdom and Mexico and found to be 13,000 years old. They pre-date the Clovis culture by a couple thousand years, adding to the growing evidence against the Clovis-first model for the first peopling of the Americas.
Of additional significance is the shape of the skulls, which are described as long and narrow, very unlike those of modern Native Americans.

I remember back in the 1960s that some of the old western magazines were offering books for sale about these “giants”.
