Only in LA, it didn’t end up destroying artifacts centuries old.

Thousands,not hundreds,of years old actually.

As for Mubarak and his regime, would it be too hard for our allies not to get too greedy and too stupid all at once?

There is nothing to salvage of this situation by propping up this man, what will will be;we couldn’t slam the brakes on this if we wanted to.

Code Pink was there for planning last year and they are in the protest now.

As good a time as any to start shooting these thugs.

good questions there.
When obama gave his speach over there he gave an official invite to 10 leaders of the muslim brother. Who and why. Probably some of his personal acquaintances.

we know the far left plans their agenda in years not month or days lie some on the left.
Hell they’ve been planning their manifesto since the 60’s
http://www.uhuh.com/nwo/communism/comgoals.htm

but don’;t you find it strange that obama goes to Cairo of all places and the this happens.
We know Ayers was around there and the flotilla as was his wife.

Now who did obama or his cronies meet, why did he meet them and what was said?

Just seems strange that he picked there and now this goes off with strong words from obama yet he said nothing to Iran.
Where is this not getting involved the media and the left used to say?

Now if the left and the MB get control of there then they have all the weapons, Suez canal etc.
They have extreme power and influence over in that area.

Our foreign policy is now pissing on allies while appeasing radical islam and silence from the GOP YET AGAIN

The museum was a joke, stacked floor to ceiling in no particular order, no pamphlets or information to help you figure out what you are seeing and what it means, and “guides” outside the museum ready to escort you though each guide had wildly different descriptions of the displays.

Basically, no order to the place except for old parts that still had 3 x 5 yellowed-with-age typed cards left there by the British back in the 30’s, and King Tut and mummies in environmental controlled rooms. Those rooms were set-up by the West, as well.

“muslim humanity”

A true oxymoron, if there ever was one.

Thing is, those numbers pretty much mirror what the Egyptians think of any nation in the world, not just the US. But the thing is, we really don't know if those numbers are correct to any degree. In Egypt, where the secret police are everywhere and everyone fears being watched, they will give the “approved” response. I go to Cairo all the time, I know the “people” on the street (well, the merchants and such). They all like the American people and the United States, they just don't want it to get out, as the MB is very intolerant towards those attitudes.

My experience, my opinion. . .

True in its 3rd definition relating to "being humane; kindness; benevolence."

I was using its first definition..."a collection of humans."

CNN just said the fire is across the street from the museum.

I hope so. However, we've also been told that none of the artifacts from Tutankhamun's tomb were damaged, yet the short security video from the museum clearly shows that both the exquisite statue of Tutankhamun standing in the boat with the harpoon and rope, and the one of him standing on the leopard, were shattered. Clearly recognizable pieces of those statues are on the floor.

Given that the security video shows only a small portion of the cases and the floor, it may be that many of the Tutankhamun treasures have already been damaged - or that this fire may be in the museum.

Seriously hundreds of thousands of protestors, how do they know who is who? What prevents one person from mingling in with the other side, then hurling a cocktail, so that the pro-Mubarek group gets blamed? All those people don’t know one another on sight, right?

They are all mixed in together so each side gets blamed for whatever goes wrong....

Shepard on Fox today kept laying the blame on the pro-Mubareks ...had to turn the channel....

These people will destroy the pyramids if they get half a chance.

I've wondered how long the pyramids would be allowed to stand.

But it was Napoleon's cannoneers who blew the nose off the Sphinx. For target practice.
