Politicians, Congressman have done worse. He did a stupid, thoughtless, selfish thing that’s going to hurt a lot of people, and he’ll need to do a lot of praying or other soul-searching to understand that, it seems from this distance. Maybe his wife can forgive him, maybe he’ll be able to save his marriage and make sure his son has a father he can eventually respect, maybe his electorate will find they’re better off without him and his replacement will be more responsible and considerate. I wish everyone involved the best.

Also, then Gov. Paterson screwed NY-29 out of s special election for months after Eric Massa resigned. The district ended up going without a vote for over 400 roll call votes. It’ll be interesting to see what Gov. Cuomo does about calling a special election for Lee’s district.

Is this how far we’ve sunk? We are at point that there aren’t any folks running for office or present day office holders that have even a shred of morality about them? They all make me sick. Both sides of the isle and those in between.
There are no words to adequately describe what a dumbsh*t this guy is. Can you imagine being his kid and wondering what the hell kind of brains you must have got from that genepool? Hopefully, the kid got his intelligence from his mother.
I find it worse considering he was put in office to undo what Obama has done............

If he did the stuff he is accused of doing, we are well rid of him.
