While press on both sides of the aisle trumpets the clownishness of Ron Paul, the acerbic but sometimes misguided humor of Ann Coulter and the ego-driven puffery of Donald Trump, the most important speech at CPAC goes almost unreported. Horowitz remains one of the most courageous opponents of creeping Islamicism in the U.S wherever it occurs—including within the conservative movement itself.

After listening to this YouTube of David Horowitz speaking to CPAC, I will be sending this link to my entire address list. I urge everyone to do likewise. His comments must be heard throughout this country. His warnings are very valid for all of us.

Potent speech...

Time to start posting a link to Horowitz's book...at Amazon:

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam And the American Left [Paperback]

****************EXCERPT ********************************

Vastly Illuminating, September 25, 2004>

By
Kat Bakhu (Albuquerque, NM United States) - See all my reviews

I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air.

I love Horowitz’s example about Khan, saying, when a person leaves a movement after discovering it’s insidious nature, he should feel compelled to inform others of its destructive and evil nature. Of course, this is exactly Horowitz’s story. Amir Khan has never repudiated the muslim brotherhood.. because he was, is and will always be a devout supporter.

That's kinda how I've felt since I left the GOP.

I also first came across Mr. Horowitz when I read Unholy Alliance a few years ago. I’m still baffled by how stupid the left can be in supporting radical Islam (or turning a blind eye to it at best). I understand it better though.

Dave covers all angles. Anyone trying to dispute his long view findings would be hard pressed to say he is not very well informed. I purchased the hardbook version a few months back.

Grat Link, Horowitz draws parallele to the inflitration of Communist Agents into the US Government and the Muslim Brotherhoods contemporary work in the USA.

He is right. And the America people should know.

This video supports what Horowitz is saying:

ex-CIA Agent Reveals: “Muslim Brotherhood” has infiltrated Obama Administration

http://notalemming.wordpress.com/2011/02/03/ex-cia-agent-reveals-muslim-brotherhood-has-infiltrated-obama-administration/

ALSO HOROWITZ refers to an evidentiary document used in the Texas case agaist CAIR, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot. In that documment theplans are set out, how to infiltrate, and names the organizations it will use.

That document can be seen at this link:
