***I know a lady who will be buried on top of her husband at the National Cemetery in San Antonio. I think its common practice.***
It is. My mother-in-law is buried on top of her husband at Ft Gibson National Cemetery. I believe there is a special double vault for such bruials.
In Chicago that's now known as Lincoln Park
I believe this is also done at Arlington
The first bguy on top is the legitimate corpse. The 7 others buried under him are mob hits.
Those aren’t bodies.
Those are democrat voters.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Historically, it used to be common to just move the headstones if a cemetery had to be relocated to make way for a construction project. It would have been less of a desecration to simply ignore bone fragments when digging a building foundation than it would have been to dig up everything and try to find all the bone fragments (the coffin, shroud, and flesh having long since rotted away).
Did you notice that what I posted was the line from the movie POLTERGIST?

Sound like a plot from the movie THE BUSY BODY.

I did. A movie whose basic plot premise seemed silly to me for the very reason I mentioned.
