a bare bones new 1911 for around $350-400
nothing beats a .45ACP
probably need to get an imported one for that price...
Any .357 mag from Taurus.
There aren’t any (unless they’re stolen.)
I’d have to go with the Mossberg 500 in 12 gauge for the long-gun choice. For a handgun, under $500 a Glock Model 22 (.40 cal). If you are willing to spend a bit more, a standard GI spec. 1911 is really a better choice.
THIS is one gun to avoid like the plague!

Is the Stoegar Cougar at about $400 any good? ( Formerly Beretta Cougar). It is available in 9mm, .40 S+W, and .45 ACP.
Agreed. No better all purpose weapons than the Mossbergs, or similar shotguns of other manufacturers. I’m trying to buy specific Mossberg 590 Series and the 930 series. Hard to find for some reason.
A pistol crossbow.. would work fine in some/many occasions..
springfield arms xd subcompact in .40 cal....about $475.00 brand new in the box.... made by a real american company
