Schumer to Boehner: Ditch the Tea Party, join us!

Top-ranking Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer is urging Republican House Speaker John Boehner to ditch the Tea Party and join a coalition that includes Democrats to work around conservative lawmakers on spending cuts.

“It is becoming clear that the path to a bipartisan budget deal may not go through the Tea Party at all. In order to avert a shutdown, Speaker Boehner should consider leaving the Tea Party behind and instead seek a consensus in the House among moderate Republicans and a group of Democrats,” the New Yorker said in a written statement.

When Schumer became a Senator was he required to go through some type of training to become a political clown?

They all seem real stupid. We need conservative people willing to talk the conservtive talk. Nothing else works for me.

Don't drink the kool-aid John!

Chuckie's all for taxes, amenesty gay marraige and much more. He never met a tax he couldn't hike.

Is Boehner that stupid?

I don't like him. I don't trust him.

But I digress.

Yes, he's that stupid.

“Is Boehner that stupid?”

I don’t think that Boehner is stupid, I also don’t think that he is a true conservative. Frankly its next to impossible to stay in Washington, D.C., as long as he has, and not become part of the problem. Term limits are a necessity at this point in time. Bottom line Boehner must go!

Schumer: Yes, John, yes. You've been Speaker for what, now, two months? All that work. All that responsibility. Join us. No responsibility. Plus you can work to bankrupt the United States, I mean, really, why stop now? We're almost there.

Shumer is very calculating he is trying to drive a wedge between the Tea party and the Republicans. This is an opening salvo in a Democrat effort to frustrate the Tea party and try and make it splinter off into a third party. The Tea Party must supply the spine for the GOP, for it has none with out it.

It's time for everyone to realize that the Tea Party is to American politics what the Swift Boat Vets are to American veterans.

It is too late to hash out where, how or if the Tea Party will affect the Presidential election.

We are further along than that now and it is laughable that anyone, Conservative or Liberal, is unable to grasp that or insists on marginalizing the Tea Party momentum.

Scumbags like chuckie only was to be bipartisan when they are in the minority, just like the Islamists who only want a truce when they are losing. They call those phony truces a HUDNA.
