Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a military lawyer, is the first member of Congress to say the legislature needs to explore the possibility, however unlikely, of limiting some kinds of free speech - like Terry Jones' Quran burning - that help America's enemies.
"I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we're in a war," he told CBS's Bob Schieffer on "Face the Nation."
"During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy," Graham said, adding that he wanted to do "anything we can to push back here in America against acts like this that put our troops at risk."

Figures.
FULG!
How about holding those who do the killing accountable jerk.
LG is an idiot.
“During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy,” Graham said
Ok Linsey. Since you are presently inspiring Muslim Jihadists, would you please STFU and have the good form to resign and never speak in public again?
Oh, you meant limits on US not you, I see.....
...at what point did he figure out we were in a war?
Ah, but it was ok for the hippies to run thru the “protest” crowds waving N. Vietnamese flags?
Remember that Lindsey?
Hey Lindsay:
WE LEARNED ALL WE WILL EVER NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MUSLIMS AND ISLAM ON 9-11-2001.
AMERICANS FOR A MUSLIM FREE AMERICA.
Hey Lindsey, how about this: When Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Sudan and Afghanistan all allow Bibles to enter their country without being seized and BURNED, then we can talk about "proper treatment" of the qu'rap here in America.
Until then, sit down, STFU you queer as a three-dollar-bill closet homo!!!!
I think he misspoke. We had limits on what you could say about troop movements, but not on what would provoke the enemy
Hasn't he ever seen a movie (or cartoon for that matter) made during WWII. I gurantee you that no one in the United States were concerned about the feeling of the Japanese or Germans.
If anything someone in the same position as Graham would have said anything like this during WWII they would be the ones under investigation for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
So, we are back to Bubba Klinton’s “Americans have TOO MUCH freedom”?
I won’t burn any Koran’s, the old sears catalog in the outhouse treatment seems more appropriate.
Maybe ship them to Mecca after use. ;-)
Pelosi is to the right of this tumbling gayboy.
media first inspires a backwoods preacher who can’t even get 100 people to attend his church to burn a Koran (which is his private property) for the publicity - then they provide even more publicity, so much so that even semi-literate Muslims in an Afgan backwater hear about it...then they blame the resulting mayhem on the completely irrelevant and powerless preacher. Awesome work MSM!
This is ridiculous. How about worrying about burning of the American Flag? How about the Holy Bible?
If they favor the Koran in this way, we may just have to have a mass Koran burning around the country.
So burning the America flag is just fine?????
I was thinking the exact same thing. I can remember a Popeye cartoon where he sang “When Japs they start swarming, be sure to take warning, call Popeye the sailor man”. This was after Popeye had eliminated a large number of them.
It was probably around 1955 when I saw that cartoon. They would never play it now.
Yet beheading is OK?
No, Senator Puss face. Americans never did anything to provoke the Japanese...

“...at what point did he figure out we were in a war?”
That jumped right out at me, too. Finally an admission that we’re in a war. But when we put such limits on ourselves, the other side automatically wins. One would think any halfway intelligent person could see that these people flying into a rage over burning some pieces of paper proves everything we’ve said about them.
