I propose a reverse boycott : Research and discover which advertisers made the statement to Fox to withdraw their advertising from the Glenn Beck time slot and organize a nationwide / worldwide boycott against them and their products . Surely Glenn has enough supporters and fellow patriots to mount such an effort . Hit them back , hit them hard . If any company is shown to have any affiliation with Media Matters , et al , boycott them as well .

This is an ambush . How do you break an ambush ? You attack into it .

it wasn’t the advertisers that boycotted him... they were just knee jerking away from the attack drones from the left.

advertisers were getting sometimes thousands of calls per day ... insults, complaints, etc

welcome to fascism

LOL.....what a B.S. article. First, he wasn’t ‘dropped’; second, he was drawing numbers in a 5PM slot that most shows would kill for in prime time.

Gee, other than that, they’re dead-on.....[insert low whistle here]

They couldn’t have Beck on a major network when the 2012 election rolled around; he was effective.

there was a rumor last week that Beck wanted to defect to establish his own show now that he has enough money & connections.

imho i think he got randy-mouthed because he knew he was leaving esp.whe he mouthed off The Donald on the bc issue.

The other item you may want to take into consideration is
the fact of MediaMatters & George Soros funding has orchestrated a program to out FOX NEWS and their employees & dig up dirt on the FOX corporation to tear down a semi-weak news station(s) to protect that piece of shite in the wh.

It’s not been announced by Beck that he’s going cable & to the best of knowledge he’s not made any statements concerning his employment there.

As we all know “The Donald” has been given a spot on FOX News, too. It has not been announced “The Donald” will be taking over for Beck, yet.......... somehow i’ve got this sinking feeling “The Donald” was offered a position to shut him up about ‘bam’s bc controversey; why? because if he persists in his personal investigation he will look like a fool.
Without aligning himself & garnering all these wonderful people who have dedicated their time , resources and money to expose the fraud in wh The Donald can be on tv but will FOX News allow him to continually present his own personal opinions w/the help of his many lawyers & is FOX New going for the gold in the biggest expose in American history.

Is The Donald shilling himself or is he doing the right thing and is FOX News going to give him this platform to turn our country around?

I’m glad Beck is off- i stopped listening to him years ago.

I am in agreement...”Red Eye” is about what people need at that slot and might shock MSNBC that a comic view of the news could pull just as good as Beck. Let’s face facts...Beck wasn’t a news program and it mostly entertainment...and “Red Eye” could do just as well.

Gee, do ya think David Bauder of the Star Advertizer didn’t get the press release that FOX and Beck put out? Here’s the opener:

“FOX NEWS AND MERCURY RADIO ARTS ANNOUNCE NEW AGREEMENT
(New York, NY) Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.
Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of Fox News said, “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him.”

That is just it. There are those who need to hear the doom message daily, in fact, they are addicted to that kind of thing. Then there are those who hear it, take action, and prepare, but if the message doesn't change we tune out. Then there are those who hear and do not care. What happened to John the Baptist?

Beck is human, has a family and has had to take extraordinary security steps. Beck flits from one thing to the next and I think Beck was ready to change his message, but Fox wasn't.

Beck is also battling personal health issues, like losing his sight. Which leads me to wonder if he could no longer see the teleprompters for TV or it is becoming difficult enough to start planning an exit strategy.

He discussed in passing on the radio starting his own production or TV program. All of that could be completed from an in home studio. All the reasons are there from security issues to health matters.

Beck plays his cards face-up, but only when he is ready to play them.

Glenn Beck was the ONLY show I watched from the TV news lineup.

Thank you Glenn!

You woke me up from a pessimistic slumber.

The “journalist” who wrote this is full of crap. The show is not being dropped because of the boycott. The show is being dropped because of low ratings. Period.

The leftards can boast about the boycott all they want. Don’t give them ammo—they’re firing blanks.

I like Glen and think he is doing the work that needs to be done exposing all the corruption in our beautiful country.
The problem is there is so damn much of it it is hard to keep up. I had to quit watching his show because if you missed one minute (phone call etc etc) you were lost.
I also would get so mad it wasn't doing my mental health any good.

We (conservatives) outnumber these left-wingers probably ten to one. If we’re not able to throw our weight around we have no one to blame BUT OURSELVES.

It’s not easy to be organized. They have union money, liberal special interest money, and they used to have Soviet money to help them. But we still have the numbers (to borrow one of their expressions) to stop this crap.

But do we have the will????

If any host should be disappeared it is Hannity.

By now everyone one who has ever watched his show could repeat his dialogue by heart. It never changes, it’s always about self promotion, and adds nothing to our desperate need for information on what the illegal in the White House is doing to our country.

Glenn educated us as no other host since Rush’s first years on the air.

Even listening to Hume lately shows how far left of center FNC has moved.

Pity.

Now it’s going to be up to us to search out the relevant information that will help us defeat the America haters.

What we really need is a right-wing version of CNN, MSNBC and CBS. Maybe two of them.

Fox is not that version (nor would I want it to be considered that way)

Fox is truth. That's why they attack Fox.

If Glenn Beck started a right-winged News Network (whether it be stealth (like CBS, MSNBC, CNN) or openly right-wing like Rush Limbaugh we need that TV network.

Yes, it would be a target of those loonies but so what.

"CNN is left wing we're right wing, they won't admit it. We just did" :)

And Companies that do not do any Biz with Libs. We are breaking up as the Communists come out of the closet. I think about 40% of the US is now Communist. I do not see how we can co-exist.

Hannity's not going anywhere. Most likely not O'Reilly either.

It was not the best move for Glenn Beck to have moved to Fox.

What Fox needs to do is go back to the basics from which it started.

When they were new they often read emails instantly and took phone calls live during their programs. Hannity and Colmes did that.

Orelly would read emails (not just the part of the program where he reads them normally everyday).

Bring back the live chat at the bottom of the screen which scrolled during the programs. If they need a moderator to delete the swearing and pure anti-FoxNews insults or promotion of other networks such as CNN they should hire one.

Fox was much more interactive with its viewers at the beginning.

Lastly, I don't like Hannity on his own. I prefer the liberal vs conservative format like it was with Hannity and Colmes.

Bill Oreilly use to be good but he's changed. Nothing worse than a self-proclaimed conservative who is center or even left of center. That's redefining conservatism.

imho i think Beck & his mormon beliefs , his alcoholic past ,losing his eyesight have a definite part in his current persona on FOX.

Is he backing Mitt Romney for Prez? Is he attending his meetings @ AA?

What bugs me the most is when he has cried.

I just can’t STAND a man who crys in public, especially on TV
and I’ll throw in John Boehner with that one, too.
