The state's top election watchdog agency has satisfied itself that results certified by Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus for the April 5 election are consistent with totals reported by municipalities, though "a few anomalies" were found in a four-day investigation.

In a statement released Tuesday, the Government Accountability Board staff said, "After completing the review of the election materials from Waukesha County, there were some discrepancies found in the Government Accountability Board's evaluation of the Waukesha County election returns that could not be explained based upon the documentation reviewed."

They amounted to only a handful of votes.

You are right about that. I’m convinced that the Dims called off the fraud dogs when what’s her face announced victory...You know they were saying that they could have used a lot more dead people otherwise...

Here it is! Kloppenburg’s “victory” speech. It’s a classic.

“No, she is legally entitled to a government paid recount if she asks for one. She has until tomorrow at 5pm to do so.”

Yes, you are right. I read the article I was looking at wrong. The recount would be at the taxpayers’ expense, but her legal teams that she would have to have to oversee the recount, would be an expense she would have to eat. My mistake. So, the question is, would she and/or the unions want to cough up the big bucks for the legal teams necessary in any recount vote. My guess is they will not ask for the recount, but we should know very shortly. Sorry for the mistake on my part, my bad. Need new spectacles.

LOL, lucky for me I got new glasses last month.

I honestly don’t know what will happen next. I wouldn’t put it past the unions to push this into a recount. Kloppenburg is just a puppet. What idiot would announce victory with 204 votes unless told to by her masters?

‘Based on this election...they will quiet down for the next twelve months and prepare for the November 2012 election.’

The Unions never give up! They will surely be taking part in the upcoming recall elections for GOP and Dem state Senators.

This year's spending by third-party groups was second highest in state history - $4.5 million compared with $4.8 million in the 2008 race. The groups spent $2.7 million to help Prosser and $1.8 million to help Kloppenburg, the Democracy Campaign found.

Interesting info.

It is within the margin which triggers a state paid recount if the loser asks for it.

There is no question that the loser will subject the state to a useless recount. We are not dealing with honorable people or good sports.

And what lesson will the unions and the libs come away with here? Cheat more and cheat earlier. And they will do just that.

If you look further it was a liberal think tank that compiled those numbers. The Journal-Sentinel didn’t consult any other sources.

Correction, the Journal-Sentinel also used these completely undocumented numbers as a source:

Kloppy and her union thugs should be required to pay every penny for any “recount”. And then, they should all be required to get the hell out of the state while the recount is taking place. Any union thugs that try to get involved in the recount should be arrested, severely beaten up and then taken out and shot.

Oh, that's hysterical. Her "confidence in the vote margin" (of 204 votes) and that "the people heard" her message was badly misplaced.

And what's with that breathy, little-girl voice and that bug-eyed stare? She truly sounds dim.

I believe that taxpayers will be on the hook for $5/ward.

Kloppy (i.e. the unions) will have to pay the rest, and the lawyers' fees).

Cheers!

What a relief that this critical balance on the Wisconsin Supreme Court has been maintained! Kudos to the fine citizens who voted for Justice Prosser.
