Two women are charged after a video showing a brutal attack on a teenage girl at a Baltimore-area McDonald's restaurant surfaced on the internet Friday.
According to the Baltimore Sun, police have charged a 14-year-old girl as a juvenile, and charges are pending for her 18-year-old accomplice. The attack reportedly occurred April 18 at the 6300 Kenwood McDonald’s location.
The Sun is also reporting that State’s Attorney Scott D. Shellenberger says that the assault may be classified as a hate crime because the attackers were both black, and the victim white.
The video, which was uploaded to LiveLeak.com, shows two black females kicking, punching and slapping a white female who at one point starts to have a seizure. Restaurant employees could be seen watching the fight and adding their own splash of commentary to the shocking scene, but only once half-heartedly trying to help the victim. One employee is even heard laughing.

The corporate liability comes in when an employee, on company time, warns the criminals the cops are coming. By so doing, that employee made himself an accessory.

The victim was attacked because of two extremely violent black people who saw an opportunity to be violent and continued kicking the victim in the head repeatably...Walked away, then repeatably returned and again and again, continuing to kick the victim in the head, over and over, all while the victim was down.

Do you know Mcdonalds policy? Do you think it includes grabbing your cell phone and videotaping an attempted murder in the store while yelling out commentary? I hope I would have the character to defend someone even if it meant I would lose a job. Especially since these assailants could have easily been stopped.

All the McDonalds employees who stood around and did nothing during this savage attack should be fired.
I hope the victim sues McDonald’s for every penny they have.
The only defense needed was for the manager and his lazy punk racist employees to go to the beat up customer and take them to the back room or somewhere safe and wait for the authorities. The wildabeasts has left and come back at least once so there was plenty of time and opportunities to stop this situation without employee violence towards the perps. The fact is the employees were enjoying the show, we clearly know the one recording it was.
Agreed. I was responding to the comment that the employees could not do that because of company policy. I hope I would have the moral constitution to violate my employer’s policy if it meant allowing someone in danger to die.

I think a lot of Freepers feel that way, and I think a lot would intervene. You don’t know till you’re in the situation, but I trust a lot would rise to the occasion. I think it’s hard for people with a conscience to stand idly by. I seriously risked my job twice as an RN intervening to prevent death when no doctor was available and it was very much out of my scope of practice. Thankfully, I only got slaps on the wrists. I could have potentially had my license revoked. I’d still make the same decisions today.
‘lurking’ ‘sneaking’? How about ‘walking’ into a restroom? A man who believes he is a woman and dresses like one would probably not be ‘safe’ going into a mens restroom. So maybe this person walked into the restroom without ‘lurking’ or ‘sneaking’ believing that it was ok to do so because the men’s room would represent a hazard? Why would a gay man want to ‘lurk’ in a women’s restroom? Men who dress as women typically do so to attract men - those typically don’t stalk women.
Living out here on the left coast, working in a building with gay men and women, and one transgendered person, and having been in a women’s restroom when a male/females entered in theaters and restaurants, I can tell you that the behavior of the transgendered I have encountered has always been “stand in line while rooting through handbag or picking at fingernail polish, enter a stall and close the door when one becomes available, exit stall and wash hands, fix makeup, exit restroom.” No leering, no eye contact, no loitering or making excuses to stand to close or look in stalls - just a person using a restroom. For this I don’t believe anyone, despite their lifestyle, deserves a near fatal beating by thugs. I haven’t heard anything about this beating that indicates lewd or threatening behavior. The women who were doing the beating may have been doing so because this individual was white and when realizing that it was a transgendered person, because it fueled their perception of a person ‘ok to abuse.’ Seriously these girls went after the transgendered male/female like jackals. I didn’t see self defense on their part. They could have called the slack jawed staff for protection but they didn’t need it. They could call the police if the transgendered person was threatening them - but they seemed - in the vid - to glory beating someone two against 1. On the video - the transgendered person did not exercise superior strength against them -there was just survival mode. Early when the vid was posted - a comment on the vid site had a black male making assumptions about the video (that it was racially motivated and the victim was a biological female) His knee jerk reaction was that the victim had ‘mouthed off’ and should realize that she ‘just can say anything she wants...’ I don’t know what the full circumstances are but I sure cringe at the assumptions. I don’t want to live in a society where roving two’s and three’s (groups) beat down individuals because they feel like they have the social upper hand. In other words - I prefer to keep the distinctions between us and Muslims intact.

Even government officials hid the sex of the freak, until the homosexual activists were ready to assault the public with their abominable social show. The common message on cross dressers from homosexuals is that no one can tell that they’re men. ...not true, of course, if they’re right in front of a healthy person.

Anyone making any sort of excuse for the creatures that abused this human being are aligning themselves with the same sort of thinking that Muslims have when they justify their horrendous acts of violence.
