BREAKING: White House releases Obama's birth certificate

The White House released President Obama's original birth certificate Wednesday.

The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.

They were betting both at FNC/National Review and MSNBC/CNN that even if Obama released his COLB as has been demanded for over two years, that these folks would still claim it is not real. It was a great bet!

This sort of kills Trump's whole candidacy. Last night someone pinged me to tell me Trump was doing ‘God's Work’ with this BC nonsense. Trump needs to hold a press conference explaining how he won, and then go away.

I always though this BC stuff was an indication that those obsessed with it did not think Obama could be beat on issues and this was their one imaginary hope. Then Trump appeared and confirmed it.

Are these supposed to be in numerical order? Then why is Nordyke’s 61 10637 and obama’s 61 10641 and he was born 1 day before her?

It is possible that the BCs were prepared in batches. The information for 2-3 days of births might be given to a secretary to prepare for signatures. The secretary could have just taken them in the stack order rather than in birth order. (Unlike today, back in those days, the birth mother was kept in the hospital for a few days after the birth, so there would have been no big hurry to prepare the BC.) Given the time and the technology used at the time, I don't find this too alarming.

What I can't get my head around, is why would someone spend a reported $2 million to fight the release of a supposedly non-damaging document? Even if it is someone else's money, it makes no sense. If this is taxpayer money, then the taxpayers have a right to know why that money was spent.

On Susan Nordyke’s birth certificate it shows Kapiolani hospital as being located at 2013 Kakola (spelling?) Drive.

On Zero’s it shows Kapiolani being located at 6085 Kalanianaole Highway.

Did the friggin’ hospital move???

Obama didn't release anything new. He released the same old COLB.

If The Donald does not make a big stink about this, it means he's a stalking-horse for Hussein, meant to inoculate him from further birth certificate inquiries.

I, for one, had questioned his "Natural Born Citizen" issue FROM DAY ONE.

Second, this form does not eliminate the FACT that he has yet to prove that BOTH his parents were "U.S. Citizens" at the time. There are MANY more questions about the Usurper, but key is Constitutional Eligibility, in my book.

I don’t follow this BC issue much. But I just took a look at that PDF and I’d love to have the thing examined by a typewriter expert. Old typewriter’s had idiosyncracies and the H’s in this document seem different (the H’s in the names versus the H’s in the hospital name and Honolulu.) Maybe I’m seeing things :)

Go to the PDF. Right click on the PDF image. Click on Marquee Zoom and keep on clicking until the image gets huge.

Look at any grouping of letters and you will see that each letter is surrounded by a square area of white or almost white pixels.

Look at the letters H themselves and you can see that the pixel arrangement between them is all over the place. It is simply not possible to do any analysis on a low-resulution, digitally manipulated image.

It is what it is: A digitally manipulated image.

My questions stand:

1.) Why won't President Obama simply end this circus by releasing the long-form document?

2.) "What is President Obama hiding and why is he hiding it?"

Trump has long struck me as a wolf in sheep's clothing. Show up, become popular among those who don't realize he is NOT a conservative, lose the GOP nomination, run as an independent, pull just enough votes to put Obama back into the White House for the second term he so richly deserves to lose.

Maybe we can avoid that scenario.

For one thing it is clear that it was completed using TWO DIFFERENT TYPEWRITERS.

It is a nothing more and nothing less than a digitally manipulated image and speaking about "different typewritters" is about as meaningful as speaking about this gal's Body Mass Index (BMI).

I think that Obama can be beaten on the issues but why not soften him up a bit with this? People are obsessed with this, not for the reason that you suggest, but because something seems out of order in this whole situation. Why would Obama fight this so vigorously and allegedly spend two million dollars to keep a supposedly non-damaging document from being released? All this from the man who claimed he would have the most transparent Presidency of all-time. He still needs to provide some explanations.

This has become a full fledged conspiracy theory and as such will never fully go away no matter how sufficient the evidence is that Obama was born in Hawaii. Birthers wanted the long form and now they've got it,

This is NOT .... repeat NOT ....... the "long-form".

This is a digitally manipulated image, that combines alleged 1961 typing and signatures with a 21st Century digital background. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This is a computer geek work product that shows exactly what the computer geek was told to show.

Using digitally manipulated images to settle a debate is as useful as using digitally manipulated images to answer the question, "Does that dress make that gal look fat?"

The "long-form" is still hidden.

Although only 25% of America is "Birther", America is getting pretty tired of the "Hiders".

This issue is not going to go away so you and I have to deal with it.

I deal with it exactly the same way that Trump deals with it. I became an "Asker" and keep asking, again and again:

1.) Why won't President Obama simply end this circus by releasing the long-form document?

Byron’s point was that even if he was born overseas, Obama would be considered a natural born citizen due to his American mother, except for ... “ a “small legal technicality”.”
The small legal technicality is “living in US for 5 years since age 14” which Stanley Dunham missed by a few months by virtue of not being 19 yet. That was changed/fixed in law subsequently.

What was shared before was the COLB, that was a computer generated certification of Obama’s birth information on file.

Now we have the original source of that information.

He was born in Hawaii.

It’s real. It confirms multiple other sources and evidence. He was born in Hawaii. Get over it.

Note that this was released when Trump moved *off* this and onto ... the College records.

The real lack of transparency was ALWAYS in other areas besides his birthplace. Not here. He was born in Hawaii.
