A thief who tried to steal a WaveRunner from a lawyer's backyard was killed Saturday afternoon, Miami-Dade police said.
At 2:31 p.m., police received a call about a shooting at a Miami Shores home at the 9200 block of North Bayshore Drive.
The property belongs to attorney Jeffrey Davis and his wife Yasmin, according to Miami-Dade property records

I love gun control. Gun control is hitting exactly what one is aiming at. When the shot is fatal and the victim is a criminal, it just don’t get no better than that. Give the shooter a trophy.

Here is a 2009 article on this lawyer. He had guns in house but some armed thieves jumped him and his wife in their driveway. He must have said “Never again”

I'm glad you said "allegedly". A friend of mine told me just 2 days ago he told his wife, if anyone comes in the house, shoot to kill. All you have to say is "he said he was going to kill me and I believed him". Dead men don't talk.
They have small children in the home and a friend recently was accosted in her house when she and her small child were alone.
