NOTICE: FR DOES NOT AND WILL NOT SUPPORT ABORTIONIST, GAY RIGHTS PUSHING BIG GOVERNMENT STATISTS FOR PRESIDENT!!

This message is intended for those posters on FR who seem to have missed my prior statements in this regard and insist on advocating for these bastards.

I'd rather shut the place down than be involved in any effort to install abortionist/gay rights pushing RINOS like Romney or Giuliani into the White House!!

Do NOT push this crap on FR. Take your business elsewhere!! And I don't care how long you've been here!!

I'm going up to Ephraim tomorrow to judge an art show. Click the pic for more info.

They are also having the Scandinavian Festival. Think they will have any Tuborg available?

IMHO this is a very well-timed thread.

One would think that Jim wouldn’t have to repeat this over and over. Unfortunately some just aren’t listening.

This week there was a discussion on gun confiscation in Mentor OH. I will be the first to admit not knowing all the nuances of gun ownership and various laws involving them. Durus gave me a lesson & in the process I went to his profile page & his only statement on it was a good one that has made me think this week

The Constitution, not a party, defines conservatism.

Guess in my soul I know that but it seems such a profound way to define it rather than ramble off a platform. This election it would be nice to see a third party come from THE RATS.. don't they have a good female, Jewish and maybe black candidate to put up against O? Would Hillary go third party?

Right now I love Sarah & am following with great interest Herman, Michelle and Allen. A combination of two of those with the other two in key cabinet posts would be a dream

I guess I would love to see the party be the Constitution Tea Party. No dilution & no sugar. The GOP no longer is the party of the constitution & conservatism although there are many fine members who are.

Libertarians are liberals in disguise.

they want limited government with no restraints at all, abortion legal, homosexuality legal, open borders, to name a few. What they claim they stand for is really anarchy and will destroy this country.

Our Founding Fathers were a VERY moral bunch of men and didn’t seem to think that laws against the butchering of babies and sodomy were *unconstitutional*.

This is an EXCELLENT video explaining the different types of governments and is only about 10 minutes long.

Types of Government, Explained

Jim, did FR initially have libertarian roots? Conservatism does not equate to libertarianism, although I see a lot of libertarians who like to insinuate that there is no difference between the two.

So, what company is that for those of us who haunt other areas of FR?

I don’t recall seeing that.

“Boo hoo!

If ya can’t stand the heat...”

Right, if you can’t stand the liberal point of view, leave FR? That is what you are saying?

Sorry, I like all things conservative, and will fight against all things liberal, like the homo agenda, and if getting flamed because I oppose homo-inclined companies, companies that support obama and rahm, means I should leave FR, because YOU say so, then I have to question who YOU are.

This used to be a very conservative site, but as the years have gone on, it gets softer and softer, and more and more liberalism is allowed, and those of us who want it to stay conservative are told “boo hoo, if ya cant’ stand the heat”.

Which side are YOU on? The side that says “liberalism is OK as long as I make a profit” or the side that stands for something?

Boo hoo yourself. If the “heat” means I have to accept and love liberal left leaning corporations and companies, then you betcha, I can’t stand the heat, but... maybe that is the way FR is going, as your reply just indicated.

Sorry, I’m not going to endorse any of the homo threads, or not speak up about them, you do what you want, but don’t boo hoo me. I’ll wait and see what Jim’s response is, that is weightier to me than your words of reason. Maybe you just want to “reach across the isle” in “bipartisan fashion”. Sorry, that dog don’t hunt here.

Jim, did FR initially have libertarian roots?

I have been told this by libertarians in an effort to silence conservatives. I didn't buy what they were selling. When I joined, FR was conservative.

Not tough at all. If Romney (or any other abortionist/homosexualist/statist RINO) is the Republican candidate, the Republican party has left me. FR will work to get a pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty conservative Tea Party candidate elected.

This is precisely why most of us contribute to freerepublic. Freedom is our right, not our privilege, and we will not be bullied by killers and perverts. Peace and Good Health to Mr. Robinson

I have suspected that for the main reason that it's ALWAYS libertarians who tell me, or who I have seen say that.
