“But when they get to my neck of the woods its going to get bloody, I haven’t forgotten all the training ....and I am not afraid of doing what is necessary!”

Shee-ut. If you did have that training, you would know to keep your gums from flapping about it.

>>They will divide and conquer easily.<<

As long as it is onesy-twesy, yes. That is why they deal with one guy robbing a convenience store different then how they deal with looting. “One guy” is a criminal pursuit.

When hundreds of thousands lose their unemployment benefits and a fraction - say, 2% of them - do this sort of thing, it will go down differently.

Especially if it hits critical mass.

Yeah but Rudolph had been in hiding for years. Read “Lone Wolf”. That is some serious “hide and go seek”. He was pretty gutsy. He was raiding convenience stores near the National Guard search HQ

If you take a good look at growing zones Montana is in the heart of the coldest part of North America in the winter ~ so he’s going to have to eat fast and put on maybe 200 pounds to make it through to January.

David Burgert, 47, exchanged gunfire with Missoula County sheriff's deputies along a logging trail Sunday after a slow-speed chase near Lolo, officials said. No one was hurt.

It's a wild and wooly area for a chase at any speed.

The Hutaree make a little news every now and then, but nothing like what the FBI guy in Detroit had planned for them.

More like folks who said "Hey, wouldn't it be neat to have uniforms" ~ so they bought matching jackets and went wild with the sticky tape.

Right you are. I don’t think gunshots are much of a disadvantage in that country, though. I hike there. Once you get close the hard part is NOT crossing the border.

This is why I advocate a neighbors helping neighbors approach to this problem, if you get my drift.

Has to be. Hope there's enough of that to go around to offset the "ratting out" busybodies that I think have grown in number over the decades.

The feds never really had anything on the Hutaree and have slowly and quietly been dropping charges. I only know the one guy and I’m not a fan of what he pushes but the raid was completely unnecessary.

"If the gubmint propaganda ministry, aka, lamestream media calls your farm or house a "compound"....watch out!"

These days, it's mostly many of those who are or were government employees or corporate administrators building compounds. I'm building a little, old fashioned country house with some alternative energy stuff and vegetable garden to save money and was somewhat surprised at them. I guess that they're scared of people. Maybe some of them are guilty as sin, and they know it. ...not sure.

IMO, near me (middle of nowhere), the defaulting economy, rising energy costs and brutal climate are the greatest threats--not gangs or thugs of any kind. Bad guys with mustaches would run out of gas or freeze to death before hurting anyone else here, unless they're abusing laws or regulations to do their dirty deeds (which is stealing). [Mustaches: little humor there from the old western movies.]

Agreed on smart law enforcement. They should approach their villains in relatively tactically benign ways and away from their homes. A whole lot of pride can work against anyone.

“You missed the part about shooting at police.’

And remember, the Davidians threw grenades, fired machineguns and triggered rocket launchers when the fat, farting cows at ATF attacked, but the grazing cud-chewers, taking cover behind exploding Pintos and tricycles, only suffered 4 casualties.

Let’s be a bit more circumspect before believing a word from the federal gestapo or the bed-wetting Marxist media. We’ve been through the smelly government crap-wringer PR department many, many times.

BTW, Granholm sucks! When you drag her fat, commie ape ass back to Michigan for a treason trial, Freep mail me. I’ll testify. Cheers
