A "Glitch"? A glitch is an intermittant radio in VFR conditions. This is more like loss of all electrical in solid VFR.

This is even funnier than shovel ready. The adjustment in State tax rates to pay for this would mean that your state taxes will have to exceed your income. Only people on the government payroll could dream this up.

Medicare chief actuary Richard Foster says the situation keeps him up at night.

"I don't generally comment on the pros or cons of policy, but that just doesn't make sense," Foster said during a question-and-answer session at a recent professional society meeting.

"This is a situation that got no attention at all," added Foster. "And even now, as I raise the issue with various policymakers, people are not rushing to say ... we need to do something about this."

"The fact that this is being discovered now tells you, what else is baked into this law?" said Leavitt [Utah Governor], who served as Health and Human Services secretary under President George H.W. Bush. "It clearly begins to reveal that the nature of the law was to put more and more people under eligibility for government insurance."

They had to sign it to find out what was in it, but they still haven't gotten around to reading it. Many surprises ahead.

What doubly sucks is the first person that even suggests that this madness should be undone will be thoroughly demonized for “trying to roll back and cut Medicare”.

The only positive I see with this is how it will hasten the inevitable crash of the Ponzi scheme. Just give Medicare and Socialist Security to EVERYONE and be done with it!

I’ve been waiting for this.

The government can’t truly rule us until they control our access to medical care and our access to food.

At that point you’ll bend down to lick their boot. Oh, you could put up a fight. In which case they will make your life a living hell, perhaps even kill you.

The revolution, what ever form it’s gonna take, can’t start soon enough for me.

If only the media spent 10% of the effort they did on Sarah Palin’s emails to the Obamacare disaster......

Anyone who thinks this medicaid for the middle class was an accident is an utter fool.

A married couple could have an annual income of about $64,000 and still get Medicaid

Well, that's nice. I make considerably less than that, and I get to subsidize them. Sounds fair. /heavy sarcasm

And we're only finding this out NOW??? A YEAR AND A HALF LATER??? I'm so glad the news media had all that free time to scrutinize Governor Palin's emails.

The failing Republic, when the majority start to vote themselves largess from the public trust.... So there go the Rats bribing the ignorant and uneducated public with their own tax dollars.

This is completely and utterly unethical but goes largely un-commented on by the Socialist main stream press.

Democrats and their social reparation funds have destroyed this once great nation. It should be made a crime to bribe the electorate with unfunded, unpaid for entitlement liabilities.

Most Middle Class folks in Queens would only enroll in Medicaid if it were “free.” Moreover, many docs in the area do not accept Medicaid. Consequently, we’ll have many more with insurance but without access to care.

Here's the glitch:

......"That's because, in a major change from today, most of their Social Security benefits would no longer be counted as income for determining eligibility."...........

..............."The Medicare actuary's office roughed out some examples to illustrate how the provision would work. A married couple retiring at 62 in 2014 and receiving the maximum Social Security benefit of $23,500 apiece could get $17,000 from other sources and still qualify for Medicaid with a total income of $64,000. "..................
