But GOP members would go along with Obama and vote to raise the debt limit if they knew they never would be asked again, Gee, DeMint is Charlie Brown, come to life.

Lying bastards.
First, taxes are now called “fees”.
Then there is budget cut, after all.

Well, that should shut us rebellious, "Neanderthal" conservatives up for a while, until Republicans know that we've forgotten the issue...not.

Pres. George H.W.Bush trusted the Democrats to work with him on balancing the federal budget when he broke his promise, “Read my lips - no new taxes”.
The Democrats stabbed him in the back. There is no compromising with Democrats as they are all liars and cheats.
Learn from the past, Senator DeMint. Don’t trust the Democrats.

If the GOP gives in on the debt ceiling they are done as the voice of America. DeMint if finish and the Republicans should dump him.

But GOP members would go along with Obama and vote to raise the debt limit if they knew they never would be asked again, DeMint said. We as a whole Jim are "giving outed" to the point of losing all faith in the word Conservative Republican.
Sorry Jim but I don't think I stand alone in saying this is that LAST straw and support for giving in will no longer be an agenda deemed worthy of supporting.
'Nuff is enough and being the loser is no longer an accepted agenda.
Battle lines are being drawn....

This is political theatre, that’s all.
Democrats won’t ask again because, by then, they’ll expect that Dictator Obama can simply decree it.

Before throwing Demint under the bus, you should read the linked article. He says (in effect) that to insure that Congress is never asked again, that the President should embrace “cut, cap, and balance.” It is the same thing, with a different statement of hyperbole that he has been stating for weeks.
Demint remains a patriot in my eyes.
Please read article, it is not too long, and has small words, before judging him.

How is saying we will raise the debt limit if you agree to cuts a betrayal? ??? If the republicans do not play lip service they will lose the whole deal . Besides the senate likes to talk, why hell they could be talking about for a year are two.
To: rabscuttle385
The GOP focus on the deficit, rather than on economic growth (via tax cutting, fewer regulations, and trade agreements) and spending cuts, has given the Democrats the perfect excuse to call for cutting the deficit by raising taxes. By following Eisenhower rather than Reagan, the Republicans are going to end-up being the tax collectors for the Democrats’ spending programs.

Republicans...so stupid...never seem to get they need to educate with a spokesperson even the definition of taxes, how they affect small businesses, the good about businesses do in this country...Dems /commies/socialists are winning the education game with their help from the MSM...our side never gets it. They’re just so tone deaf. They ought to hire Steve Forbes for just this task.

If Demint is trusting Democrats he is a sellout. The Democrats have been betraying this country for over a hundred years.
Either Demint wants what's best for the country or he like the Democrats is trying to push it off a cliff.
To: SatinDoll
I don't trust anyone in Congress or the Senate... not one single person. All must have their words and deeds verified or I consider them a lie.
