Yes Perry is good looking enough and in every presidential election the better looking candidate is elected POTUS.

Well do you expect his to sound like he is from NJ. Get a grip. He speaks much better than Bush.

"Right now, my candidate is Jim DeMint, and with a virtual tie for second between Perry, and and Palin. Problem is the attack dogs from the Palin crowd have gotten so vicious that I think I may be trending toward Perry."

Agreed. Sums up my position as well.

“No President will fix this mess. But maybe he (or she) can at least slow down the onslaught.”

Perhaps we can at least have someone - anyone - who won’t actively TRY to screw things up!

I still don’t know that much about Perry. I do know that he signed an executive order that would force all 6th grade girls in Texas to receive a vaccination for a STD. That was a bad move and a blatant violation of personal liberties.

Right on. And I may as well point out another problem with Palin here - and that is the tone of her voice. I have not heard her since Wisconsin, but shrieking is a turn off to a lot of us - regardless of the content.

It’s also BS, in fact CAIR is ticked off at him for not inviting Mohammedans to some prayer thing in Houston.

Perry/Rubio has the potential to change the national electorate dynamic for years. Most hispanics are hard working folks who don’t want to be dependent or beholden to anybody. Face it, with Ob as the dem, he is going to get 90% of the black vote again. If Perry/Rubio can bring over a significant number of hispanics, game over.

Perry won't pick Romney- they would look like two Ken dolls out of the box.

He does need to pick someone with foreign policy cred.
Maybe someone who is not even up on the stage yet.

“I will work every day to make sure Washington DC is inconsequential to your lives”

I applauded. That line will give the liberal MEdia, the progressive left, and the professional poverty pimps, the buckwheats.

Sarah will campaign for Perry. She will not run against him.
She will make an excellent addition to his cabinet and will keep the TP focused on making sure the Perry administration hears them and works with them.

I’m typing this on an iPhone 3Gs, and it loves to autocorrect some words it does not recognize if I’m not careful. When I typed “doofus”, it corrected it to “doodie”, which I did not catch. Sorry.

Plain talk and Perry has a lot of cattle under his hat. Perry/Rubio -— if Palin doesn’t run.

Well, Obama messed with Texas through the EPA.

So, here is the payback

We keep telling people, don’t mess with Texas....

We aren’t kidding. It won’t go well for you.

There is an “opt out” for that vaccine order. Perry is no fool.

I very much like the CAN-DO attitude that he projects.

He makes the point that we are AMERICANS and we CAN and WILL fix these problems. I like that. I like his firm confidence. We need that.

So you have noticed the attacks, too. Thought I was the only one who noticed. What a relief.
