CAIR would not support him unless he was sympathetic to Islam as WE know it!

“so give me more ideas against GWB..for some reason I just Can not loose my respect for the MAN...I prayed for him daily and just can’t seem to talk to God for Hussein or Clinton...”

Oh, and I didn’t like how Bush didn’t give Scooter Libby a total pardon, as he was framed and it was pathetic and Bush stiffed Cheney whose good friend Scooter is, by not pardoning him completely, leaving the man with a totally undeserved criminal record. Cheney was totally upset, and I understand they didn’t talk for a while after Bush/Cheney left office. They have since made up.

However, don’t misunderstand me, I like Bush as a person, he is a good man, he has integrity, a word that is not even in Obama’s vocabulary, and I would take any Republican over any Dem always. If you remember, there was a great deal of dissatisfaction expressed on this very website with Bush by conservatives, as Bush was a compassionate conservative with too much emphasis on the “compassionate” part, and too little on the conservative part. I’m glad Bush was Prez, and I’m glad he no longer is.

It will be interesting to see which candidate from the many now running for Prez in the primaries comes out on top. Have yet to make up my mind who my horse in the race is going to be. Time will tell.

oh, yeah? Let’s watch

Okay, there's no video at that link. What there is is an article that I will charitably call "a hyperventilating insult to my intelligence."

There's no CAIR endorsement. The bombshell revelation is that the CAIR office in Houston mentioned that Rick Perry is a Christian who is attractive to politically conservative Muslims.

Let me approach this a different way.

No 21st century politician is going to silence, deport, berate or otherwise marginalize Muslim voters. It's just a question of who they choose to deal with.

George Bush made pals with the House of Saud, who are funding terrorism by the billions, directly and indirectly. Barack Obama made pals with the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the intellectual forefathers of al-Qa'ida itself. Rick Perry is having dinners and speeches with a sect of Ismaili Islam, 20 million strong worldwide, and hated by the other sects for being so peaceful.

So, I'll say it again. Trying to make this molehill into Mt Nefarious is a disservice to the discussion.

.
Very much so, just as the Republican congress in ‘95-’96 made Clinton look good.

Well, let’s look at the choices here.

If Palin runs against Obama, people will see Obama as the more experienced candidate, simply by virtue of his time in the White House. And Sarah is not electable - sorry folks. Independents don’t like her.

Romney’s certainly got more experience than Obama, but he’s also got Romneycare hanging around his neck.

Cain has great ideas, but no experience.

Gingrich is toast.

Pawlenty is boring.

We already know that you have no interest in having a well qualified candidate in the comming election, and will happily settle for dregs like Perry.

He makes McCain look normal.

That’s okay, sweetie pie! (note: I’m a woman of a certain age, so I can call just about anyone, male or female, “honey” or “sweetie pie.” I know: it’s crazy as a bedbug, but thems the rules!)

Without a doubt. Perry would be aguaranteed win for Obama when the voters see what kind of crap Perry stands for.

Here you are pretending to quote me, when in fact you are stating the exact opposite of what I said, as if I said it.

That’s delusional. Perry is not running to clear the field for anyone but himself.

Nonsense. Perry's got a few black marks on his record, but

1. He actually has a record, as opposed to some folks in the race.

2. He's pro-life, pro-gun, pro-business and ran a large state reasonably well for over a decade.

3. Wait, what's the problem again? You really think the average voter is going to watch their 401k's vanish into ether rather than take a chance on a proven governor from a state that's cranking out new jobs?

Yeah, yeah, I know. Gardasil. The American voter is going to torch the Republic to the ground with 4 more years of Obamanation because of Gardasil. Got it.

you need everything explained I guess

Lets watch Rick perry and his future comments on Islam, and lets remember that groups like CAIR endorsed his actions as being correct for Muslims and lets remember that Rick Perry honored, in an ISLAMIC MANNER, Aga Khan

lets watch, we’ll see who is right.

I think he's our only chance against Obama.

He was Bush's lieutenant governor. He hasn't a chance.

What COULD Sarah Palin have been thinking when she endorsed him? Is she stupid or a RINO?

As uncomfortable as I am with the Muslim head coverings and the whole religion, I work with Muslim men and women in the Medical Associations. They also promote good policies on marriage, life, abstinence and oppose “full support” for same sex “marriage,” abortion, euthanasia, and sex plus education in the schools.
