Since we KNOW that many serious crimes have been committed and we KNOW that the Justice Department has been part of them, why hasn’t an independent prosecutor been appointed?
Is there any intention of prosecuting the people who are involved or is this just a public hearing for the purpose of embarrass the administration?
We know that Obama is at the top of this pile of crap, but do they think they can follow this up to Obama and expose him?
If I had to guess....if fubo is impeached, we get bite me for president, and the dems that are sour on fubo will vote in droves for bite me....I would guess this will simmer for several more months, and then go full bore up to the election..my personal opinion is to impeach the bastard right now...
We do need to keep the story in front of as many people as possible.

Word is out though and people are working to spread it further to see that it doesn't get swept under the rug.
When all is said and done, there will be little consequence to the higher echelon folks.
Justice is almost as foreign in Washington as Russian.

I believe that this WILL eventually go to an independent investigation. It almost has to, since the Justice Department is a central part of the issue.
I think Issa has been doing well with this. Understand, that while this is in Issa’s control, the investigation cannot be tainted. Once this is turned over to an independent investigator, the Democrat smear machine will go into high gear. Issa needs to squeeze out as much information as he can before it is turned over to an II.
While I’m as fustrated as you with the redacted info, promotions to shield the guilty, the minimal news coverage, the attacks on whistleblowers and lots of DOJ irregularities, I think this is the only path in which justice can be served.

That answer makes the most sense. Once an II gets it, he will be prohibited from saying anything about the case and his investigation will be private until he goes to trial. He will be vilified like Ken Starr was. But I am still worried that the only consequence that will ever occur is that some of the criminals in this case will be publicly embarrassed. If that happens, we will know once and for all that both parties represent only the elite.

The plan was gun confiscation on a grand scale while helping to destroy law enforcement, border controls, and create chaos.
Now the plan is to cover up the crime- anyway they can.

Quite correct. One thing to come out of the Clinton scandals is that there seems to be a tacit understanding between both sides that they will never allow such a mess again...giving free reign to many of the worst people in government to get away with murder....literally.

It really does sound like a plan of some moron teenager on a sitcom. But what really alarms me is that dozens if not hundreds of people in the federal government HAD to know about this and they KNEW that it was illegal and it took the deaths of two BP agents before the shroud of secrecy was pulled back. If those BP agents had not been murdered, those same people called heroes would be sitting tight and allowing the government to commit serious felonies.
And of course that least to the next question; how many illegal acts have been committed by other administrations so that they could push their political agenda?

Yep. And he wants to find some intermediate to upper level flunky to lay the blame on, hoping that it will satisfy the GOP.

The Nazis certainly unethically exploited the fire, but it wasn’t their plan. They just took advantage of it. They were far better go-getters than the Obama White House, anyway.
