The Obamas' summer break in Martha's Vineyard has already been branded a PR disaster after the couple arrived four hours apart on separate government jets. But according to new reports, this is the least of their extravagances. White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year. Branding her 'disgusting' and 'a vacation junkie', they say the 47-year-old mother-of-two has been indulging in five-star hotels, where she splashes out on expensive massages and alcohol. Personally, I believe that this obscene behavior is intentional. Michelle knows that hubby is a one-termer, and she is getting while the getting is good.

If they were once slaves, then I don't really begrudge them some Christmas hams. It's the entitlement mentality that I object to, where descendants that were never slaves themselves think that they are entitled to compensation for what their ancestors went through.

And as an example of that, I’d highlight the Department of Agriculture’s settlement with black farmers, where any black person who claimed that they had “attempted to farm”, but couldn’t, because of discrimination, is entitled to $50,000 in compensation from taxpayers. Lawyers get a cut of these cases so they have an incentive to sign up as many people as possible, and many of these “farmers” have never even been on a farm.
