If Nader likes Palin and what she is advocating, then I may need to re-evaluate the fact that I like her.

[Palin] spoke of the collusion of big government and big business and big finance. And she took aim at both parties for governing in service of their big campaign contributors.
This sounded to us like Nader. And Nader agreed.

Palin and Nader agree that corruption aimed at the citizenry must be dealt with. What’s the problem?
BTW, how does a “real free marketer” justify a “windfall profits” tax on oil companies in Alaska?
Sarah Palin seems to be genuinely down home, someone just like us, yet unlike any other candidate, she also has real star power.
She would overshadow the others, especially Rick Perry, if she were to have entered the race in the last few weeks.
As things are, we can examine the current candidates' records and listen to their debate answers and form opinions based solely on them alone.
At some point soon, I hope she gets in.
I want to hear what she has to say and to see for myself if she has addressed the few negatives she had as a new to the big stage VP candidate.
But not just yet. Let Rick Perry have his moment alone. He and we deserve that.
And let the Rick and Mitt comparisons be made and voter opinions be formed first.
Then we'll be ready for her and I predict a very enthusiastic reception if she get in.
Like I said, no one has her star power and it hasn't dimmed no matter what the msm and company have thrown at her.
That makes three of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wink...
How does a real free marketer justify letting oil companies sever Alaska’s oil wealth for cheaper than market prices.
A truly free market would sell the land under which that oil is deposited to the highest bidder and then make sure the oil companies paid the full market value of every cost associated with oil production including ALL the externalities.
Oh I know that Nader is anti free-market! He agrees with Palin with the end of corporatism but his means and desired results is certainly different than what she advocates
Sarah is building a true Bipartisan movement, like all great leaders do, even if not all are willing, The Commies can go to hell and the Beltway Republicans can either fight be her side or be crushed under our heel, but they will NOT stand in our way.
All I can say is.
Effin’ “A” Bubba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

None that I can see. Palin is Palin and if Nader learns to admire her for her conviction, that's great!
The American People are damned tired of working their whole lives to feed the insatiable appetites of the money whores in both parties.
I love that! :)

Asked & Answered. You’re making a category error. Palin’s ACES legislation does not qualify as a winfall profits tax. It’s a production tax that rides independent of and prior to profits per se. See post #191 here for detailed discussion and several very good supporting links:

Run Sarah RUN!
Every now and then a blind dog finds a bone.
Hey Ralph, don’t let it go to your head.

Nice try, but don’t forget that there is an “in forum” button on your personal page that anyone can click on and see how bitterly you hate Palin.
