In a statement on the day that dont ask, dont tell ends, President Obama briefly relives the moment in which he signed the bill to reverse the militarys ban on gays, saying he was proud to end it.
He also adds a sentence for gay service members who were kicked out of the military before the policy ended: I want those who were discharged under this law to know that your country deeply values your service.
Heres Obamas full statement:

Does this mean that Obozo will now be coming out of the closet?
In other news, yesterday was International Talk Like a Pirate Day........
Well of course he is. Moral rules and expectations of conduct? Conservative. Smash them! Mission accomplished for the leftist revolutionary.
Of course he is. After all, he killed two birds with one stone:
1) Further mainstreaming perversion.
2) Weakening the magnificent US military at its very core.
The repeal made Zero eligible to be commander and chief.
Maybe he should march in the next Gay Parade? He can dye his hair pink, paint his face with rainbows, wear a large multi-colored, feathered headdress and a loincloth.
He might even be able to perform (ahem) with “The Village People”.
This complete jackass is most comfortable around homosexuals and various other varieties of pervert along with flies, vermin, cockroaches, virtually anything that decent people find offensive.
The Central Socialist Government is ripe for a revolution, but it won’t be a pretty sight when all these roaches are rounded up.
Tell that to your Maker, Hussein.
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Today is the day God lifts His hand of protection from our military. He cannot wink at this sin. It is the same rebellion as was long ago and their judgement is written down for all to see. Obama has brought the same on our beloved country. God have mercy.
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
I think it means he is desperately scrounging for votes
and I will be proud to vote against you and your ilk in the next election...even if they dig up Mao to run against you.
Not to worry...over time this decision will prove to be a poor one and eventually being openly homosexual in the military will be banned yet again!
The local extremely gay-friendly fake news tv stations in Miami ran a story by Ainsley Earhardt from FOX. She had some.ex-Air Force officer who got booted...saying he was going to re-enlist. He also said he was going to INSIST that gays be MADE MILITARY LEADERS. Gays MUST be given leadership posts, he said, to disprove the notion they are not good soldiers.
Not once was there any interview of current soldiers, or any opposing point of view.
Fair and balanced.
And many Americans deeply HATE you and what you have done to this country Mr. President. Myself included.
