If I screwed this whole thing up, please kill it. :)
On other threads, people are pretty mad about Cain’s endorsement of Romney. (I don’t like it either)
I’m trying to make the point that ALL of the candidates have bad endorsements. Nobody has clean hands here.
I hope I did it right.
Stop wasting your time on these stupid lightweights and watch the awesome wild card races end.
The Mexican government is allowing their criminals to run hog wild and threaten US national security.
Time to do another Halls of Montezuma and kill a bunch of birds with superior firepower.
Oh wow, I’d forgotten about that poll!
Well, that settles it. I’m voting for Cain.
“Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for supper.”
I like that. :)
Unfortunately, Patton and MacArthur are dead. We have no such real men today.

WOW! Cain shows good judgement in going against McCain, the worst kind of RINO, because he claims to be conservative but licks up all the “love” he gets from the left wing MSM. If I had to choose between McCain & Romney in 2008, I would have also endorsed Romney. At least he is not old, paunchy, bald, and have bad teeth like McCain. On TV, the sharp contrast between a youthful, tall, lean opponent destroyed McCain in the much watched debates.
I like how you think.
Let’s not devolve into a circular firing squad over this. That was then, this is now and we certainly have real issues to focus on.
Please, join us!

People endorse others for a variety of reasons. Cain sees Romney as a top-notch businessman. He probably sees himself as VP material as well.
So? In the last Primary I voted for Huckabee. And in the General, I voted for McCain.
So how is what Cain and Perry did any worse? Or better?
And that is my point.
Instead of us sniping over our issues like children, we need to air our preferred candidate’s dirty laundry in public in a fair manner and open up debate to the floor.
It’s amazing how an endorsement doesn’t seem so bad when you realize that they’re all guilty of the same ‘sin’.\
Now, maybe we can put this matter to bed and end the sniping on that one issue.
From now on, I’m not bringing up Perry’s bad endorsement unless someone brings up Cain’s.
“The Mexican government is allowing their criminals to run hog wild and threaten US national security.”
The Mexican Government, if you can call it that, could not find it’s a$$ with both hands and a flashlight. More simply stated, it isn’t really a government any more. I don’t think that it has the means to fight the cartels even if the cartels were not paying off the government. Mexico=Parador
I hope I did it right.

Are people flaming away over what you posted? Yes? Then you did GREAT!
Seriesly. Good thread.
You have absolutely gotten my point. :)
Please read my other posts on this thread.

Thank you, SR. And I agree with you completely.
Why would it surprise that Businessman Cain would endorse Businessman Romney? Folks can kvetch all they want about Romney and his shortcomings as a conservative, but I’d bet the US economy would be far better off today had he been sitting in the Oval Office for the past 2-3/4 years.
DISCLAIMER: I AM AGAINST ROMNEY-THE FOLLOWING IS A LOOK AT HOW THINGS WERE IN THE LAST ELECTION. DO NOT ZOT ME! (LOL)
Lets not forget this quote from Mark Levin: “I think its do or die time for conservatives. Either we rally to Romney or we reconcile ourselves to McCain and all that that means. Its one or the other. We have a few more days to make up our minds.”
Or this one from Rush:
” I think now, based on the way the campaign has shaken out, that there probably is a candidate on our side who does embody all three legs of the conservative stool, and thats Romney.”
After Hunter and Thompson dropped out, over 1500 Freepers supported Romney. Romney was also supported by by:
Sen Jim DeMint
Ann Coulter
Judge Robert Bork
Sean Hannity
Paul Weyrich (founder of The Heritage Foundation)
Laura Ingrahm
Rick Santorum
Hugh Hewitt
Jay Sekulow
William Bennet
Sheriff Joe Arpaio (R-AZ)
Dennis Prager
Glenn Beck
The problem for Romney is that much of his support back then was to stop McCain...not “FOR” him. I
