but I still don’t see how they’ll be able to direct it from their supporters who are doing the rioting, to their detractors, who are not taking part in any of this.

Seems to me, the riots would have to spill over into more conservative geographic locations before they could have that excuse.

Maybe you've already figured this out, but in case you haven't here is what I am thinking that these "Wall Street Riots" are all about. The unions are being used to organize these riots. They are going to become full-on riots like are ongoing in Greece. They are coming to every major city and they're are plenty of unemployed to fill streets, and a lot of thugs in the mix to boot.

I think you're onto to it. These are trial runs. They're tuning up their destructive machinery. This will be the year of social upheaval here, barring some miraculous turn of events.

I believe the 'Wall Street' protests/riots are being orchestrated to deflect attention and rightful blame on the nation's staggering economy from where it belongs - the socialist policies of Barack Hussein Obama - to 'the rich' or better yet, 'Wall Street'. People are hurting and they are growing angry. That usually means bad news for the president in an election year. So, Obama and his minions have decided that instead of borrowing Harry Truman's 'do-nothing congress' shtick he'll blame the nations economic woes on 'the rich bankers' who are relatively nebulous and easy to attack, considering the protestors are mostly unsophisticated college kids. The whole thing is a sham and utterly absurd but even so, Obama is using it to his advantage as he tries to play the class warfare card. It could morph into the police-state scenario you've outlined but, more likely, the protestors will get bored and go home causing this Kabuki street theater to fail. Obama is in deep doo-doo and he will not be re-elected.

It should be clear to all that the world’s economy is on life support and the doctors are all ‘quacks’! Sooner or latter are the spinning plates are going to start to tumble and there is going to be on hell of a mess!

As recent events show (Flash Mobs, UK riots, etc)this things can turn violent FAST! And the US Has a larger entitlement minded population and a much more violent and armed population than Argentina and most arab countries.

I see many many small business wiped out by flash mob looting, and see rape, robbery and murder for murder sake. Many of these ‘yutes’ will think no more about killing you than most people think about stepping on a roach. That will be the test of many. Most preppers I know are Christian people and they will hesitate to do what they might have to do to stop the ‘yutes’. On the other hand the ‘yutes’ won’t think twice nor lose a minute of sleep, in fact they will smile and laugh about it.
