He also said he thought the question was a joke and he answered it like he thought it was a joke. And he was right, the question was a joke.

Go sell that lame logic on HuffPo.

What does THIS sound like to you?!

Cain: I’ll Be Any GOP’s VP, Except Perry

http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/cain-perry-vice-president/2011/10/07/id/413666

“Republican presidential candidate and businessman Herman Cain says he is open to joining a GOP ticket as vice president, but not if the other name on that ticket is Rick Perry. “

IOW he will be happy to be Romney’s VP, but not Perry’s.

“I’m not the one who told reporters he would be happy to be Myth’s VP choice, Cain was. People who plan to win the gold don’t usually talk about how happy they would be to take the silver.”

As long as he’s against going on Perry’s ticket he’s staying well clear of the OPEN-BORDERS candidate.

From your link ...

“I am running to be president. I hope to be the presidential nominee. I hope to be offering the vice presidency to somebody as the nominee, not having it offered,” Cain said.

... it sounds like he's running to win.

“What does THIS sound like to you?!”

It sounds like he’s keeping his options open. Do you have a problem with that.

When did he ACTUALLY SAY that he’s only running for VP?

Perry isn’t an OPEN BORDERS candidate. He spent 400 million of State money to try to secure the border.

LOL...on what? Getting the Dream Act passed, stopping E-Verify, stopping Sanctuary City legislation, opposing the border fence.

The problem with Perry is that throwing a number out of a hat at us HEARTLESS conservatives just doesn’t work anymore for him. It’s over.

It’s kind of like having your superbowl coach talk about how great it would be to coach the pro-bowl.

It’s over.

If you believe that, why are you spending so much time attacking Perry?

All I hear is a bunch of talk. Words are cheap and rhetoric is easy and the masses fall for it everytime. That is how we got the marxist.

Herman Cain...in bed with Rinos and the FED

It’s just for fun now. He’s been a crappy governor for a decade here, and it’s PAYBACK TIME.

He didn’t spell it out, at least not in that sentence. Don’t get your panties in a wad, I like Cain and will most likely vote for him in the primary. People like you can really turn people like me away from a candidate. I asked a legitimate question, if you know the answer, then give it to me, otherwise STFU with the snarky comments. Being afraid to answer legitimate question about your candidate doesn’t speak well for him, liberals do that, conservatives don’t.

Cain : I’ll Be Any GOP’s VP, Except Perry

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2789950/posts

“Anyone” includes Romney.

and Cain woudn’t even vote for Perry in the general election — who is the other one left, oh, yes, it’s Obama. So he prefers Obama to Perry.

See link in my post 1 at link above.

As opposed to what other candidate? Ever?

Herman Cain...in bed with Rinos and the FED

What RINOs is he in bed with? His experience at the Fed is valuable.

He was the director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas and served in the roles of deputy chairman and then chairman of the board from '92 -'96. You can read more about that here ... HERMAN CAIN’S SERVICE AS A DIRECTOR OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF KANSAS CITY As to what he said when asked about looking into the Fed I can't answer since I don't know what account you are referring to. I listened to his account of his time there that he gave Glenn Beck and it sounded like great experience for him to have in terms of handling economic matters.

Claiming that "he's in bed with the Fed" is just ignorant and it's a lie.

He does not sound like Perry, Romney and the Grinch.

Cain is smart, a number guy, extemporaneous and persuasive.

I am sold.

The link above at the beginning of the thread goes to his speech. It wasn't a legitimate question from anyone who had heard the speech since he went into quite some detail about his foreign/military policy before making that statement.

I only come off as snarky to people who lazily butt in without doing any homework.
