“Make $350-650 a week “protesting” on Wall Street"

The Working Families Party (WFP) (www.workingfamiliesparty.org) is New York's most energetic, independent and progressive political party. Formed in 1998 by a grassroots coalition of community organizations, neighborhood activists, and labor unions, we came together to build a society that works for all of us, not just Wall Street CEOs and the well-connected. WFP is independent from corporate and government funding and in-addition we are community based; community funded and equally uninfluenced by both major parties. Our agenda focuses on economic and social justice, corporate accountability, job creation, environmental protection, and investment in education and healthcare. For the past twelve years the WFP has been at the fore front of progressive politics,

Leading the fight and helping to frame the debate. The WFP has a proud record of fighting for issues that matter and has been instrumental in implementing key pieces of legislation such as Raising New York's Minimum Wage, Enacting Living Wage Laws, Creating Thousands of Jobs In the Green Economy, Passing Healthcare Reforms on the Local Level, Fighting for Affordable Housing, Keeping Tuition Costs Low, A Progressive Tax Code, Reliable/Cost Effective Public Transit System, Public Financing Of Elections and Corporate Accountability . In addition, we have an unapologetic stance on supporting and pushing good candidates to enact progressive legislation

The WFP is seeking immediate hires.

You must be an energetic communicator, with a passion for social and economic justice.

There haave been ads like these in the Minneapolis/St Paul City Pages (one of those free weeklies). I tracked back one of the associated organizations to have ties to Georgie Schwartz.

Pretty bad when they have to pay for protesters (to lay around and screw) and don’t know or care what they’re protesting for.

Pretty sick of Nancy Pelosie and others saying they are proud of the protesting. Sick, sick, sick.

You beat me to it. Union dues go to two thing these days, Union officials salaries and the Democrat Party.

Spare me. The press knows FULL WELL who these people are and how they operate (hell, their college buddies are running the damn thing).

I know you're right - do you think most freepers know?

but come Monday morning we have to be back at work.

Leftist counter - The Tea Baggers are just fitting it around their work schedule (you know it;s just evil capitalists stealing money) or family obligations ((censored) breeders!), so they are not really making any sacrifices to express their hate.
I’ve lived in close proximity to Minneapolis, and the moonbats’ schtick is so predictible.

I don't see how they can say they're 'proud' of the protesters either - it's obvious they're on the liberal elite payroll.

Maybe it's time for O;Keefe to get a 'job' with Occupy...

Someone needs to send this to Drudge.

To hell with Drudge - it needs to be Rushified....but it probably will; it's very apparent that he has staffers FReep with regularity. He parrots what's going here on a daily basis.

I just wish his staffers would catch on to the quarterly FReepathons and have the Big Guy instantaneously just kind of 'take care of it'. I truly believe this site is one of his major, major sources.

I don't see how dems can say they're 'proud' of the protesters either. It's obvious 'rent-a-crowd' protesters are on liberal elite payrolls.

Maybe it's time for O'Keefe to get a 'job' with Occupy... get 'training' and benefits...

“I know you’re right - do you think most freepers know? “

Probably not. It’s so well hidden. I went to a left-wing protest back in Gulf War 1 days...took pictures, and shocked the crap out of my co-workers. They were clueless - they thought it was just families disagreeing with Bush-41. But these ‘families’ were as weird as they get.

This 2008 photo is from the WFP "jobs" page...

this recent photo from the OWS demonstrators ...
Doesn't it look like same woman but now the little "lib" cut her hair short and got newer glasses?

this is a grassroots effort that hasn’t spit on Congressmen like the Tea Party did.

Well then, as a grass-roots effort it certainly isn't worth much.

“Don’t forget that politicians get to keep any unused campaign funds when they retire, so we are funding their retirement pensions.”

GOOD POST.

THAT should be the focus! Make it illegal for a politician to use campaign funds for personal use, and much of the corruption will go away. The corrupt ones will leave to go steal money somewhere else. There won’t be a built-in reason to take bribes for cash if they CAN’T KEEP IT.

Soros has billions.

You think Soros is paying for this? I thought this was stimulus money creating jobs!

I don’t think anyone really doubted that this was the case after the SEIU and other unions showed up. All of a sudden, fancy printed signs, bashing capitalism, etc. which a bunch of students and limp hippie wannabes would not be able to accomplish. All of a sudden, the mobs are getting unruly and violent. This whole thing is being stage managed.
