Is Sarah Palin Really Out of the Race?
Dear Tea Party Supporter, The liberals are still chortling because they think they have gotten rid of Sarah Palin by her decision not to run for President in 2012. But I have news for them when it comes to Sarah Palin: You aint seen nothin yet.
.
Governor Palin has said from the very beginning that she is going to use her voice to advance the conservative cause in America, and I know she means it. When she was picked to be the Republican nominee for Vice-President, there was not a more exciting day in the entire election cycle for conservatives.
.
She electrified us from that first speech, her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention and in her travels crisscrossing America advancing the cause of freedom. We were honored and proud to have Governor Palin appear at many of our Tea Party Express rallies across the country. She was a knockout whether we were in Searchlight, Nevada, Boston, Massachusetts, or Manchester, New Hampshire.

.
I had the great honor of starting my professional life working for Ronald Reagan beginning with his first campaign to win the Republican nomination for Governor in 1966. Those were bleak days for conservatives, and Reagan with his eternal optimism gave so many of us hope that there was a brighter future.
.
But the liberal elites couldnt stand the thought of Ronald Reagan succeeding. He was viciously attacked as a know-nothing actor who possessed extreme right-wing views that would bring destitution to the poor and nuclear holocaust to the world if he were ever elected President.
.
They sure got that one wrong. I think Ronald Reagan was the greatest President of the 20th Century!
.
While the constant attacks on him took their toll, they didnt slow him down one bit. He knew that his plans for a stronger, more prosperous America were right. And he had the determination to win over the American people and then make the changes our country needed. He also said that every generation will have to fight the collectivist mind-set that will want to destroy the America he called that shining city on a hill.
.
We have the fight going on again now. President Barack Obama has been a disaster maybe even worse than the President Jimmy Carter that Reagan defeated in 1980. We are not going to have Sarah Palin as our nominee to defeat Obama, but I know we will have her on the front lines to make sure we restore in Washington the principles that have made America great.
.

.
I have to admit that her decision left me with some sadness. But then I realized that this wasnt the end, but it was the beginning of a new chapter of Governor Palin standing up for America. She will be out there supporting good, solid conservative candidates for public office. When the book is written on the 2012 election, I bet there will be a big chapter on how effective Governor Palin was in helping to win elections across this great country.
.
The Tea Party movement has been successful because almost everyone in the movement has been willing to swallow their ego and work hard to elect the best people to public office. This is going to be a tough fight, but if we all work together we can do it. I know Governor Palin will be right there with us.

I agree that Sarah is substantively superior to all of the candidates. That she is not a candidate, however, reduces her impact to that of a commentator, not someone with skin in the game.
So while her decision not to run might have disappointed a lot of people, it may be the best decision for her in the long run.
Unless she is employing the Muslim practice of deceit.

Seething with blind rage so much that something like that oozes out of your keyboard?
It may have been a good decision for the tea party movement as well. Consider that Palin got the nomination and the GOP establishment elites withhold their support and votes. They could then blame Sarah and the tea party for the defeat. Don't think so? I do. The GOP elites would rather have Obama win than let the tea party take their power away from them. By declining to run, I believe Palin outsmarted them.
Now we can work to add to the tea party strength in offices and plan for 2016. I'm going to predict that Romney is nominated and elected in '12. In four years, we'll(tea party/Palin) will challenge both the Democrats AND the GOP establishment. By then, we'll be in a much stronger position to do so.
P.S. Those here who care to excitedly jump all over this theory are quite likely not "tea party" supporters. We'll see. :p
P.P.S It doesn't have to be Palin who challenges in '16. Another leader may surface who is just as good. Time will tell.
>>> I purchased a copy of “UNDEFEATED” yesterday at WalMart in one of their $5 bins
“Oct 4, 2011 You can purchase The Undefeated DVD starting tomorrow at Wal-Mart.”
That sure didn’t take long.
LG Speculation #5: Maybe she had predicated her run all along on another RiNO's entering the race to split Mittens's base.
Then Perry jumped in, a RiNO identifying against type as "conservative" (the RiNO's were smart enough to get a Judas horse that at least looks "conservative"), and Christie backed out, sealing the deal for Romney. Lots of insider opinion is going around saying Romney's got it bagged now, and for similar reasons, maybe Sarah came to that same conclusion -- or concluded that any more conservatives in the race (her) would really seal the deal for Romney.
Keep in mind that the Tea Party Express, which has a leadership and board, has a) formed a new group, State Tea Party Express, which has b) explicitly endorsed and partnered with Rick Perry and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. (See thread on FR.)
This means that TPX will be working hard now to bring a Sarah Palin endorsement to Rick Perry. I don't see how you escape that logic.
And be mindful also of what Bill Kristol said the other day, that the RiNO Establishment sees Perry as their guy. The endgame is that they will now marginalize the conservatives and bring Romney and Perry together in another "Compact of Fifth Avenue" (the RiNO skunk job of 1960), and that they'll try to get Sarah's endorsement of their steaming deal -- making her a Judas horse as much as Perry, and destroying her credibility for next cycle after Romney loses.
Criticisms? Demurrers? Discuss among yourselves.
Truth in advocacy: Right now, I favor Herman Cain .... and Michele, still.
You nailed it. The “Perry is a conservative “fraud is mestastasizing inside the Tea Party movement.

And that, my friend, is her epitaph.

Exacly how will she be "more seasoned"?
Her activity since she resigned has been mostly in the marketplace, not the political arena, and none of it made her better equipped (or more seasoned) for the job of President of the United States.
Since declining a candidacy her cache in the marketplace will diminish not increase. Fewer and fewer people will care what she has to say, as evidenced by numerous posts here.
She will be older in 2016 but more seasoned? I don't think so.
Well, not metastasing so much as, it's a called play. Alan Keyes called this months ago. He predicted that the RNC/RiNOrati would use a "Judas horse" play to bring/force disaffected conservatives to Romney -- trapping them and forcing them to vote for the Yacht Club gelding.
This is about eliminating choices and forcing the majority to dance for the self-privileging minority.
But the Tea Party Express thing suggests they may be after trying to bag Sarah, too. It'd be a replay of what Karl Rove did to Rick Santorum: Get her endorsement of their eunuch however much against her judgment, and simultaneously a) take the immediate benefit for their boy and b) wreck her as a future conservative leader. They used Santorum to help reelect the worthless Arlen Specter and then hung Santorum out to dry when the homosexual PAC money came pouring into his reelection race. No help, no money, nothing.
Keep in mind that Rove sacrificed a Senate seat in a closely divided Senate, just to get rid of Santorum.
Oliver Stone, in his film W., put in actor Richard Dreyfuss's mouth lines that made Karl Rove gay. I think he has a family, actually. But if he were a closeted power-gay, it sure would explain a lot of inside GOP politics over the last 12 years.
He sure ain't one of us.
Anyway, Keyes warned us to look for a Judas-horse play here, and if Rove could wreck Sarah Palin's cred and career as well, so much the better. For him.
While it’s true she endorsed and campaigned for him for Governor against KayBaileyWahingtonCrony and DebraTrutherMedina, I wouldn’t bet the farm on her endorsing Governor Perry over Herman Cain.
Sadly, Sarah Palin has already said, ABO, (anyone but obama) so I have taken that to mean, that she will endorse Romney should he win the nomination.
UGH
Your analyses pretty much correspond to mine. There is a military adage that says "quantity has a quality all its own" which is applicable in politics as well.
After the 2008 election, when the anti-Palin/anti-outsider/anti-conservative machinations of the party establishments became so obvious, I commented that what they lacked in quality and principle they made up for with a "deep bench" of reliable, controllable hacks. This would enable them to keep running a full-court press and substituting fresh players until they wore their opposition down.
...In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House. Sarah Palin
Rove has been divorced twice...in fact, it was Dana Perino who announced his second divorce. Hmmmm...
