Saigon, April, 1975-—Another Democrat victory.

Democrats are the enemies of freedom.

Post some links to convince me the LRA are a bunch of home-loving sweethearts.

From the link you posted:

similarly the notorious Lord’s Resistance Army led by Joseph Kony originated from northern Uganda, and have been causing havoc in surrounding South Sudan, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon.
Yep, sounds like the LRAs are just a bunch of nice guys.

My point is that no matter which way anyone looks at this country right now, it is nothing but a big loser for us in the long run just as Egypt and Libya have turned out. Since everything this yo-yo touches turns to crap, especially foreign policy, what else are we to expect?

WE HAVE NO FARGIN BUSINESS BEING THERE.

I say get the H out before we ever go in.

Not that I can take everything that this source reports, I would believe them long before I would believe this administration. I have a keen ear for international news and I had never heard of the baby killer militia reported here in the media before the announcement was made, had you? My natural skepticism senses just went into overdrive.

I guess our troops died for nothing....

I would not be surprised if Iran invades after we pull out.

“When you say we should leave Iraq, it is equivalent of saying destroy Israel.”

Talk about hyperbole! Utter nonsense but let’s say that you’re correct. If Israel is in danger from our leaving Iraq, let THEM pay for a continuation of our occupation of that turd world country. If you haven’t noticed, this country is broke, deep in debt and with unprecedented millions looking for work.

“The Iraqi government wants us to either submit our troops to Iraqi law or leave, which, btw, we signed an agreement to do. Are we supposed to overthrow the government we set up militarily occupy Iraq forever? What do you suggest? I would like to hear a real plan.”

Mega bump!

No it's not, your point was that you called the LRA Christian freedom fighters, got called on it, and are trying to backtrack. I was a little confused at first when I heard that the LRA claimed to be Christian but after reading up on them it seems they are only Christian in name.

The US dropped troops in Uganda too. 100 whole troops to hunt down and kill enemies of the current regime. I THINK that means the currant Ugandan regime.

You didn’t think that after all these decades of being enslaved and butchered, some group of Christians in Africa wasn’t going to pop up and use the Muslims’ tactics against them? You’re more realistic than that. Both sides are pretty much equally bad there, and when I see the bastard son of Satan is sending 100 US troops into a hellhole like that all I can think is It’s Somolia all over again.”

It’s not the U.S. that is pulling out, it’s the Obama Administration.

Please learn history, as we are repeating it. We won in Vietnam, then the Democrats abandoned the functioning government. The North Vietnamese invaded, but were fought back with the help of US air power and logistical support. Then the Democrats cut off those funds, the North Vietnamese invaded again and they won.

Looks like we are doing the same thing here, just substitute Iraq for South Vietnam and Iran for North Vietnam.

as far as I am concerned we SHOULD leave...both Iraq, and Afganistan...

but do it right...declare victory and leave.

Bin Laden is Dead....KSM is in jail....Anwar al-Awlaki was just killed by drones in yemen.

let these 3rd world, dark age idiots, live and die by there own hands...and ban any future islamics from moving to the USA.

finally take all our soldiers and place them along our southern border....
