The government-sanctioned gunrunning operation Fast and Furious was a plot to undermine Second Amendment rights in the United States, National Rifle Association officer Wayne LaPierre charged on Friday in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV.
“It’s the only thing that makes any sense,” LaPierre said. “Over a period of two or three years they were running thousands and thousands of guns to the most evil people on earth. At the same time they were yelling ’90 per cent… of the guns the Mexican drug cartels are using come from the United States.’
“That was a phony figure from the very start. Even the Wikileaks cables from our own State Department prove they are coming from Central America, they are not coming from the U.S. Every police officer will tell you that they’re coming from Russia, they’re coming from China, most of them are coming from Central America and a lot of them are coming from defections from the Mexican Army,” said LaPierre, the NRA's executive vice president and CEO.
But LaPierre said that President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were determined to make it appear that most weapons used by the Mexicans came from north of the border, “so they could stick more gun legislation on honest American gun owners of the United States.”

That’s correct! “Gotchas” are the flavor of every day when it comes to the anti-gun lobby, and if the NRA isn’t measured and calculated in their responses, they would be letting down their group.
The NRA has done some boneheaded stuff in the past (Reid gets an A rating? Really?), but I’m with them 100% on this F&F stuff. This is a gross miscalculation on the part of the Regime, and I pray it erupts right in front of them.
That plan was before the Tea Party Revolution. Would be difficult to pull off now IMHO. All conservatives, most republicans and about half of the independents are on to the Marxist Mole and Hillary. We have to keep educating the independents. . .

I am shocked, shocked I tell you that he didn't go all the way and break the big story at the Odd Fellows Hall in East Livermore, ME. Or maybe a PTA Meeting in Slippery Rock, PA. Whatever we pay this La Pierre doofus, and I am all for Cajuns, it is way too much. This guy couldn't market ice water in Hell.
No wonder John Q. Cablecustomer has never heard of "Fast and Furious." And while I am in a condemning mood, where TF are the Republican CANDIDATES ON THIS?
Please, Lord, open up a chain of evidence that proves this plot by our government to destroy our right to self defense against anything that might threaten us... from foreign enemies to thieves to our own government. Self-defense is a right that You give us. Therefore, we pray in confidence that this is within the scope of Your revealed will.
Added to the evil that must exist for officials to enact such a plot, there is also the fact of hundreds of murders that have taken place. The innocent blood cries from the ground. Reveal the truth in an incontrovertible way so that this evil will be revealed in all of its hideousness and the perpetrators of it would be brought to justice.

I’ve been posting that quote on Facebook with every article I post about Fast & Furious. My intent is to drive my leftist “friends” crazy. So far, they’ve been very quiet.
Naaaah I think he's too stooopid. He'll ride his ship right down the tubes and pretend he's the black equivalent of Slim Pickens riding the H-Bomb to detonation in Dr. Strangelove. I think the only way he'll turn loose of the election is for somebody to show him the way Vince Foster solved his problems with "depression."

Kenny, the only ones with real programs are Cain, Newt, Michele to some extent, and, of course Sarah - but she's not running. I too want concrete proposals and yes, we have to get every Ma and Pa out to vote!
Oh, and why he has any approval beyond his 20% base is a total mystery to me. As I say too often here, there's some negative news every day about Obama, any of which would cause one Not to vote for him. If we added them all up, what would it be, a thousand or so reasons? I lost track a long time ago. I just shake my head and think how could Anyone vote for Obama given all we know about him and his 'comrades.'
I just figure with something every day, maybe most Americans will 'get it' by November 6, 2012. If not, it's on to Phase II as it will be our duty.

In the defense of Wayne LaPierre, he's been reporting on the BATFE Project Gunrunner and Fast and Furious going back to at least February 2011, and consistanly since then. Check out the Standing Guard article titled "BATFE Set Sights On Wrong Target" in the February 2011 edition of the American Rifleman, page 12. You may not have heard him publicly, but he's been out there preaching to anyone who will listen. Unfortunately in this administration, that would be equivalent to talking to the wall. But in the public domain, we're listening. Come November 2012, we'll make our case.
