Limbaugh proposes $50k bounty for proof of sexual harassment by Politico employees

Turnabout is fair play, so they say. After Politico first reported a story last week of allegation of sexual harassment from Herman Cain by two women, then continued on to report and even promote the report with 90 Cain stories in five days, the notion of innocent until proven guilty has been voided according to conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh.

However, on his Friday radio program Limbaugh proposed using Politico’s rules against Politico by getting a conservative “Larry Flynt,” the publisher of Hustler magazine that offers money for sexual misconduct by Republicans, to do the same against the media, specifically Politico.

“If we had a Republican Larry Flynt – this guy, I would urge him to wave around $50,000 for proof of sexual harassment at Politico,” Limbaugh said. “I mean, that’s what Larry Flynt does — he waves around $100,000, $50,000 for proof of sex with a Republican. So if we had a Republican ‘Larry Flynt’ — you want strategy Mr. Gregory? I got one. We have our Larry Flynt offer $50,000 for any news, any proof — quote, unquote ‘proof’ of sexual harassment at the Politco office. And we can win it because the rules have been established by Politico. The truth is whatever the accuser says.”

Yep. Suggested this very strategy here on FR about three days ago, I did. I figured based on simple human nature every man (or woman) has his or price (and also, there is no honor amongst thieves -- of good people's reputations).

Good place to start is by e mailing the cash reward offer to the two female Rick Perry ground game aides who in their twitters (one in Iowa, one in Arizona) indicated advance knowledge that a smear of Herman Cain cooked up the the "oppos" (opposition research camp) was just about to break lose, and it "was not going to be pretty."

I am sure in this economy, and these women's eventual conversion from paid staff to volunteer staff as the Govs. number crumble, may well be desperate for that year-end Christmas cash to sell out who actually ginned this up and shopped it out to Politico. If I could kick in an additional $1000 to Rush's amount, I would do it.

For one good reason: These mudslingers who bore false witness and attempted a character assassination on a good man, need to be exposed and humiliated and driven from politics....it will THEN serve as a potent warning for the REST of the GOP camp, as well as the DNC and Obamaites, to think twice about doing any of these kinds of things ever again this election season to conservative frontrunners who get too close to the crown of glory, such as Mr. Cain has now positioned himself in most polls. Good strategy Mr. Limbaugh. Glad we do think alike sir. I bet Donald Trump would match Rush Limbaugh and "kick it up a notch" to $100,000, add in my piddly $1,000 and we are talking some smackeroos these Judas Iscariots could begin to salivate over. Having no morals themselves, it is only a matter of time that they sell out the big cheese's above them. I bet they are spiriting out e mails, faxes, notes on this as we speak, if they know they can cut a lucrative deal and turn conservative states' evidence on who thought this up against Herman, or who authorized the go-ahead with the black ops/back channel Politico job on him.

And as my later post indicates, the reward might go further towards exposing who fathered or mothered the Herman Cain Politico smear initially, rather than new sexual harrassment stuff from within Politico itself. That may have far wider value and be a better insurance policy against the GOP from the Dems, and within the GOP between moral and immoral primary camps.

The dangled reward will bring that out then. If a "walk in" tempted by the big cash snitch reward Rush or some others can come up with, which he or she CAN AND WILL GET incontrovertible internal communication and evidence or first person eyewitness accounts from their "oppo" camp(s), be it Perry, or Mitt, or Paul, or somebody on Karl Rove's staff, or a "freelancer hitman", or Rahm (not likely), or the White House (also not likely), some e-mail copies of back and forth with lib JOURNOlists, whatever, of them originating the same to Politico, why it would blow this thing wide open and put THEM on the defensive and send a very clear message to cease and desist of this stuff immediately. That would be very good for the GOP to return to issues, and very good as a narrative to constantly bring up against the mudslinging, scorched earth Democrats in the General who will be constantly bringing up personal issues only Saul Alinksky-style as attack dogs and avoiding the actual issues and refusing to run on Mr. Obama's simple four year record. We can create the strong nationwide impression that, starting with GOP voters in the primary, the General Election voters this 2012 cycle do NOT want dirty politics but what straight issues, up or down. That is the narrative we should begin to shit, pivot and slingshot into as an aftermath of the Herman Cain Injustice.
