I'm not a Cain fan...but think folks...No, you're not. And that's all I needed to think about.

Funny thing is that Cain is still one of only two people I trust in this race. Michele Bachmann is the other. If Cain is as smart as I think he is, they’ll be working together on a daily basis.

Cain is the only real one left in the race. He needs to spend an hour a day talking foreign policy with Condi Rice, and he’ll be fine.

I expect the same response out of mark Of course. They're both so predictable.

Nope. I saw the video. To say it was just an 11 second pause and nothing else is a lie.

Seriously, how could anyone in Cain’s position rattle off a quick correct sound bite on a question like, “What about Obama’s role in Libya?” Cain knew this was a set up, and he was trying to go through all the complexities in his mind. Plus, he was well aware that he was not privy to much of the information Obama had been briefed on, so that there was no way he could properly assess Obama’s role in Libya.
And Cain was correct on the unions. As the question was framed, Cain responded appropriately.

It’s just not done, by any reporter worth a damn.
They are holding Cain up to a higher standard than anyone else, because he prepares his own speeches, and speaks without a teleprompter.
Any reporter worth a damn edits the footage so that they deliver the actual content. I’ve worked as a reporter, and got great, candid interviews that reveal what the candidate actually believes.
Then the candidates usually get mad at me for actually reporting, in full, what they actually said and believe. Why on earth would I include the pauses, etc?

Cain wasnt acting for the camera; he was working on a reasonable response that he knew would appear in print. be bent, twisted, mutilated and taken totally out of context for a screaming negative headline by the Communist Rag that calls itself the Milwaukee Journa-Sentinel

hose were NOT "stupid mistakes" - that is who Newt Gingrich REALLY is - an Alvin Toffler, world government, "Third Wave" Progressive. Is this true?
Yep. Newt Gingrich's true record is very disturbing. Here is just one source, a video, about 30 min long:
The Real Newt Gingrich
It is absurd to ream Cain over this silly video. Cain battled Bill Clinton on a highly-rated Nightline town hall in 1993 and damaged HillaryCare big time. there were no "pauses". He just kicked Clinton's ass. Cain was conservative then and is conservative now.
I don't care if he hasn't quite got his talking points down yet on stupid Libya. He will, eventually. And with John Bolton as SoS, we would do fine. But Newt cannot be trusted. Ever.
To: BenKenobi
I don’t like Cain because I don’t want a nat’l sales tax, and I think a president should come to the job with relevant experience.
