Reach in the big hole in back to check for the bomb.
That’s where you’ll find the giblets!
Oh, you didn’t know that?
Bet you were surprised when that white package didn’t go off after being in the oven at high heat all that time.
WOW!
***So another words, you are an activist because you believe in Allah. I dont give a dang what they scream.***
Is this a reference to me? or the person who wrote the article. I’m showing that if someone gives you some food you eat it. If they give you food and say it was sacrificed to any false god YOU DON’T EAT IT!
I don’t understand your post. Please explain?
Sorry. I meant that we all are LUCKY to be able to buy or not buy what we want.
Yes. Thank God.
Magic doesn’t work nor does it exist.
I absolutely agree with you. My soul is not in jeopardy. I just don’t want my dollars supporting this crap.
Oh, you didnt know that?
Bet you were surprised when that white package didnt go off after being in the oven at high heat all that time.
WOW!
???
Yeah, I've cooked a few birds, but none "blessed" by murderers.
A little sausage stuffing should fix that halal crap
Our wood molding plant produces tons of wood shavings. The nearby Hutterite communities use them as bedding for their free range chickens and turkeys. They get the shavings, we get the chickens and turkeys.
The barter system works well for us and our employees.
Their poultry is the best I’ve ever had.
No Butterballs for me.
Isn’t that the same Mohammedan chant used when they behead Infidels?
My point is a company should not be penalized simply for providing a product that is acceptable to some number of the population of this country.
The turkey must be faced towards Mecca and a prayer said when it is killed.
I believe you skipped over a relevant part.
1 Corinthians
27If some unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience. 28But if anyone says to you, This has been offered in sacrifice, then do not eat it, both for the sake of the man who told you and for conscience saked
I believe what you quoted was KJV. NIV and others say do not eat it.
That question came up last night on FR. Every Islamic source I can find, and I looked onto Halal certification websites, say that a prayer to Allah must be said for it to be Halal.
Perfect addition to this thread.
Halal and Kosher are not equivalent. Halal requires that the slaughtered animal be made to face Mecca and prayer to Allah be said.
That’s not what the passage teaches. You clipped two verses out of context:
10:23 Everything is lawful, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is lawful, but not everything builds others up.
10:24 Do not seek your own good, but the good of the other person.
10:25 Eat anything that is sold in the marketplace without questions of conscience, 10:26 for the earth and its abundance are the Lords.
10:27 If an unbeliever invites you to dinner and you want to go, eat whatever is served without asking questions of conscience.
10:28 But if someone says to you, This is from a sacrifice, do not eat, because of the one who told you and because of conscience
10:29 I do not mean yours but the other persons. For why is my freedom being judged by anothers conscience?
10:30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I blamed for the food that I give thanks for?
10:31 So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
10:32 Do not give offense to Jews or Greeks or to the church of God, 10:33 just as I also try to please everyone in all things. I do not seek my own benefit, but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.”

What is the purpose of refraining from eating meat offered to idols *if* an *unbeliever* brings it to your attention? That the unbeliever will repent and become a believer.
My understanding is that it is permissible to have a continuous loop playing while the animals are slaughtered in accordance with Islamic rules.
