Obama's Job Approval Drops Below Carter's

President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent.

Hey buddy...good to hear from you, as always!!

Juan McCain was the last RINO vote I’ll ever cast. As I’ve said, and will hold to, the lesser of two evils is still an evil. You and I had our discussion on McCain back in the day, and I supported that POS because I couldn’t stand the thought of what we wound up with anyway.

I’m not riding the “sick cycle carousel” anymore.

Your metric about being trustworthy enough to watch your children is a good one - because that’s EXACTLY what they are entrusted with - our kids’ future.

We hire these people to be managers of a working system - to keep it moving, oiled, maintained, healthy and prosperous, defend and protect it from external and internal threats - NOT to throw monkey wrenches into the gears with stupid, failed socialist political ideology and economic theft. This system is the ONLY one that has consistently worked, after being tweaked and adjusted over a period of a few hundered years.

Anyone that talks/speaks of “fundamentally transforming the system and the nation” should be immediately thrown out of office. The problem now is that the watchdogs we appointed aren’t watching anymore; they’re now feral and turning on the masters - that’s US. They ARE the internal threat.

To say “Houston, We got a problem” is an understatement.

If we keep electing the lowest common denominator from either side, we’ll tear ourselves apart.

Maybe that’s what we need, ultimately. I don’t know. I sure as hell don’t want to see it happen, but I don’t see any other way at this point, if things keep on as they are.

There’s no live and let live with these folks. They just don’t - or more to the point, won’t - understand that most basic of concepts.

And when it comes down to push and shove, they’re going to be mighy surprised when the vast majority of Patriots in this country start to push back.

See this video; It’s sort of a metaphor for what’s going on here, now.

To me, the big kid getting bullied reminds me of the majority of Americans. Just wanting to be left alone, and being harrassed, annoyed, and irritated at every turn.

The little ratbastard weasel, of course, represents the Libs.

What happens is, well, let’s just sya it’s what happens when somebody has simply had enough...

You’ll see what I mean.

Nothing, so there is no need for the period after the “S”.

You sound like you should be supporting Santorum.

The slogan was “LBJ for the USA,” and voters actually thought they were getting something out of it.

I’m afraid my support of Santorum was doomed from the start. Our little primary voters can focus only on one or two candidates.

Yeah, that will teach the elites a lesson.

They are capable of learning.

Bush 41 walked across the aisle and became the Democrats tax collector, breaking his "no new taxes" pledge, he also signed gun control and went on to lose what should have been an easy reelection.

Very few, if any Republicans have sided on raising taxes or more gun control since Bush 41's foolishness.

Rick was my Senator from PA. Like the guy a lot, actually. He was a much better Senator than Empty Suit Bob “Hey! My Dad Was Governor!!!” Casey.

I would love to see his poll numbers go a lot higher, and wish he up where Cain was.

And on Rasmussen, Obama again hit his all-time low of -24 this morning.

We need to take a deep breath and stop saying “if X is our nominee then Obama wins”.

If you are looking for a perfect candidate then you should wait til Christ returns. Until then you’ll have to deal with flawed human beings.

Even Reagan (who we’ve blown up to be the perfect leader) had his flaws. RELAX everybody. Bawney Fwank is gone (along with 16 other dem congressmen) and Obama’s poll numbers are plummeting so bad he’s not even going to bother campaigning for the middle class! He’s now focusing on the leeches.

YES WE CAN (tax you more)
When the general election comes,
WE NEED TO GET BEHIND OUR GUY!!! (whoever he may be)

I’m tired of allowing the Republican elites to think they can screw us one turn at a time over the next fifty years.

I got a "survey" begging letter from the RNC today. They told me I'd been selected to voice my "local" opinion about their platform of smaller government, lower taxes, no federal funding abortion, on and on, la de dah... and ended up asking how much I'd like to donate to them to accomplish this. Right. They had the executive, legislative, and thanks to Justice Kennedy, most of the Judicial branches under their wing for eight years and pissed it away. I don't even know how they got my name because I'm registered Constitution Party here. Letter, meet shredder. Amazing. There is little difference between parties due to their corrupt, so called leadership.

It helps to remember that the Clinton-Bush coziness goes back to the days of Iran-Contra, when Papa Bush was supervising covert arms shipments to Latin America out of Arkansas (with drugs making the return trip) and Governor Clinton was busy looking the other way. Further, as was clear during abortive Republican investigations into various Clinton scandals, in the culture of impunity of Washington, politics stops at corruption's edge. Almost all major corruption is either bipartisan or common enough that one side can effectively blackmail the other.

We should rebuild the grassroots conservative movement. From the Reagan Revolution of 1980 through the Contract with America in 1994, it was this movement from outside Washington that carried us to the first center-right majority governing coalition in more than 60 years.

The problem has not been with conservatism or with our voters.

The problem has been with Republican leaders who forgot who elected them and what values their supporters expected to see implemented in Washington.

I read Compromised..., so I know what you’re referencing. As for Newt, he rattles of some of the greatest talking points I ever heard. And then you see what he advocates.

Now he thinks local boards should determine immigration policy superseding the federal government.

If someone is here without documentation, the law states they get shipped home post haste. Boards? Really Newt?

I was happier before I realized how old this article is. How does Obama’s current approval rating compare to other Presidents at this stage?
