For Herman Cain, the campaign all but over

ATLANTA (AP) -- Herman Cain is still campaigning for president. But by most measures, his White House bid is all but over.

His standing in polls is cratering. Supporters are wavering if not fleeing. Fundraising is suffering.

And, these days, the former pizza company executive is less a serious candidate than the butt of late-night comedy jokes after a string of accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior and, now, an allegation of a 13-yearlong extramarital affair.

"His chance at winning the presidency are effectively zero," said Dave Welch, a Republican strategist who worked on both of John McCain's presidential bids.

Bill Clinton had sex with about 10000 women had named Hilary and he raped at least 2 of them and he got to be President for 8 years.

Oh but a Black Republican all it takes is a whisper. Frigging media.

“But one source close to the candidate said Cain’s family has thus far urged him to keep running.

“They’re all pissed—not at him,” the source said.

As for Cain himself, the source added: “At this point, he thinks he can go on.”

Well, I guess he would know the signs.

You may have a point, but there is on truism in politics. When a politician starts talking about his family in decision making, they are generally hinting that they are stepping down. Take it for what it is worth.

Too bad the MSM doesn't put as much passion in to finding PROOF the accusations are true... as they do in claiming Herman's campaign is over.

What if Cain admitted that he has an eye for the ladies? What if instead of defending himself, he came out and exposed the MSM double standard? Not one interview or negative word r comment from the AP about Edwards impregnating a floozy while campaigning for President all while his wife was dying of cancer????

What if Cain came clean, no details, about his having caused lots of pain to his saintly wife, but insisting won’t hurt his ability to be a good conservative president?

Sadly, it time to face reality. It’s over. With his poll numbers hitting the cellar, it time for Cain supporters including this individual to now look at Santorum or Bachmann. We must derail Gingrich and Romney if we are capture the WH with a true conservative and roll back the socialist/marxist state.

AP should be required to register as a Democrat lobbying group.
