Sarah Palin Fails To Find Buyer For Latest TV Show
Telegraph(UK) ^ | December 13, 2011 | Nick Allen

Sarah Palin Fails To Find Buyer For Latest TV Show Sarah Palin has so far failed to find a buyer for her latest television show idea in a further sign that her star is on the wane.

In the last few years Sarah Palin has made millions of dollars from two books and numerous public appearances By Nick Allen 13 Dec 2011

The former Republican vice presidential candidate's new proposed foray into reality TV would focus on her husband Todd's career as a champion snowmobile racer. It would be a follow up to "Sarah Palin's Alaska," an eight-part travelogue which was sold to The Learning Channel (TLC) for more than $1 million an episode and first broadcast in November last year.

That show followed the former Alaska governor and her family around the state, including footage of her shooting a caribou on a hunting trip, going on a deep sea fishing expedition, and visiting a logging camp. It broke ratings records for a first episode on TLC, drawing more than five million viewers. However, it dropped to three million for the second episode and received mixed reviews, with entertainment industry bible Variety commenting "Boring? You betcha".

Discovery Communications, which owns TLC, has not bought the latest idea for a Palin show. Cable and satellite broadcaster A&E Networks, which bid for the previous series, is also reportedly not interested.

I guess we can look forward to Herman Cains, “Restauranteur”

Darn you! You made me laugh so hard I woke the baby in my arms!! Was picturing Herman sitting there next to a bottle of Courvoisier a la the SNL skit “the ladies man”!

Looks like she needs to fire up the “Look at me! Look at me!” bus again. A few laps around Iowa might net her a few hundred on PayPal.

Almost all of Sarah Palin's supporters still strongly support her.

Speak for yourself. There is a country at stake here; Palin, starting at her resignation, began running for President. She teased and led many people on, never disputing or quashing the rumors that she might run. She played it for all it was worth.

I was a 'supporter' and was sucked in like many other 'supporters'.

Go away...have a good life Gov Palin. If I want to listen to 'talking heads', all I have to do is turn the radio on. It's full of many insightful, conservative viewpoints. Don't need someone else to tell me what is wrong, I know what is wrong.

Take care though. Hope someone will pick up your latest show...

When the hell did you ever support her? You’ve been trashing her in posts all year long.

My all time fave was the genius who wrote a 10 million word vanity about... “We don’t know what Sarah will do, therefore she’s exactly like Stonewall Jackson in the Shenandoah Campaign, because nobody knew what he was gonna do next, either.” Imagine the unimaginably tiny brain that came up with that one.

I am tired of you making excuses for the woman.. She either didn’t want it or she didn’t have the courage. Jackie Robinson knew he could have got picked off on his way to Ebbets Field. he got just as much hatred as Palin and he was just a baseball player.

she decided not to run so she could do nonsense like this?

I was saying maybe it's because she's still paying all those legal bills from that Dem that kept filing complaints when she was Governor. And of course, she has to eat too. :-)

Well I’m not going to argue with you or your ignorance. Your comment shows just how stupid you are.

Hey but you take care now. (dumbass)

I don’t know if I can trust your list anymore.

I find it hard to believe Lassie isn’t on the list. Are you sure?????

As for as not being able to sell this new idea to the networks, PTL. No, seriously, P. T. L.!!!

She was a small town mayor. She served as governor for about a year and a half.

She participated on a failed presidential ticket, and tried her best to become the conscience of the Tea Party and Conservatives in America.

She surrendered the validity of that effort, by supporting the likes of McCain for re-election, all the while telling the Tea Party she was one of them and so was John McCain.

I tried watching her Alaska show, and could only stand two and a half shows before I bailed.

I have no idea how anyone can stand to listen to that voice for more than a few moments per day.

It is extremely grating to watch her to try to remain relevant. She’s not even running, and yet she wants to push here agenda in the midst of the build-up to the primary.

Sorry folks. I am way over the open minded way I viewed her just prior to, and during the presidential run with McCain.

I think he benefited from her on the ticket. I think he abused her, by allowing his campaign folks to trash her and by asking her to endorse him despite that.

I have not respect for McCain at all, and would have a lot more for Sarah if she would quit trying to be something she isn’t, a wizard of Conservatism.

Sorry Sarah, you jumped the shark when you jumped on McCain’s band-wagon in 2010.

You just don’t warrant all this attention any longer.

I agree, these threads are entertaining.

The million dollar question is how is she going to get the MSM to talk about her/cover her again after the POTUS race is over? Until then the race will eclipse anything she tries to say.

I don’t think she would have bailed if she felt she’d get even a fair shake from the GOP. The GOP isn’t interested in legit conservatives. Cons are a like a special interest group to the GOP. They’re a necessary voting block but where’s the payoff once a Rep is elected? Face it, the GOP just isn’t that into us.

Some of the so called SP supporters are so deranged because she is not running that they are almost suicidal. They are beyond pathetic, and it is mostly the very few of her male supporters so I have concluded that it is an unrequited love, sexual thing. Very disturbing. Most of her supporters both men and women are mature enough, and understanding and pragmatic enough to still support her, and whatever she wants to do.

Then you have the PDS obsessive types, who really get off insulting, and hating her even though she is not even in the race. What must it be like to wake up every day and run to the Computer salivating hoping that a SP thread will assuage their sickness? This could be a Made for TV Movie.

These same sickos think that it is fine for a narcissistic whore master and his slutty wife to occupy the People's House. They want to reward really sick, bad behavior, but trash good behavior.

I have nothing good to say about Outlaw Woman personally. But on this thread, she is right and you are not even making sense.
