CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say nine people were shot when a fight broke out at a Chattanooga nightclub, where some 400 teens and adults were attending a Christmas party. Police say all those shot are expected to survive.
Chattanooga police said in a press release Sunday morning that an off-duty officer who had been working at Club Fathom fired shots at a suspect who pointed a gun at him, but the gunman got away. The officer was not wounded.

In the show ‘The Wire’ from a few years back, the Detectives were trying to plant a bug on a car - They found the car and the White Cop slowly pulled up while his Black partner was moving outside the vehicle, on the other side.
When the driver stopped he asked the young AA gentleman driver where he could buy one of those hats with the bill on the side. The writers had a good sense of humor as it almost became an Abbott and Costello routine with the Black guy all but calling the White Cop stupid for not figuring out you had to turn the cap, but the cop insisted they had to be made that way..
Oh, yes, they successfully implanted the tracking device.

I've been thinking about it, and I supposed that technically, George Bailey went out to Nick's bar on Christmas Eve for a drink. However, I believe there were extenuating circumstances.
I am pretty sure that George and his boy Clarence weren't packin' his .380 auto to kilz any %^&*^ who disrespected him.
I'll inform the Tennessee Teachers Union that their star pupils spelled "Habits" wrong.
It would be hilarious to talk to the local media about why they are prohibited from pointing out the obvious.

And no, I’m not saying that their race is particularly relevant to the story, other than statistically and behaviorally, just how pathetic the media are because of their egregious self-censorship, which is *just as bad* as too frequently pointing out the race of those involved.
And no, it was *not* a “Christmas party”. It was a “December 24th” party. Christmas had nothing to do with it.
So, how many of the nine were shot by the off duty cop missing the “suspect”?
Did the “suspect” shoot anybody? Was it really a gun; or was it a cellphone?
Do “reporters” know how to write a story beyond reprinting what is in a press release?
Don't forget employ the side grip.
I thought they put the sights on top for a reason? Silly me.
I guess we're getting a preview of what a society without families looks like. Instead of children, they have litters that grow up and scatter.
