Judith Anne was admitted to the hospital the day after Christmas having suffered a serious stroke....
Your mother’s words were always comforting and evidence of her great faith in, hope in, and love in the Lord. I laughed and cried reading some of her posts earlier today. I actually woke up my wife because I was laughing so hard at her blunt no-nonsense defense of the faith. Amen! Some of her posts are quite lovely, and I enjoy reading what she chose to keep on her FR homepage. May the souls of the faithful departed...

Dearest you, Annie,
I’m so sorry. Like many others, I had been praying for a miracle, but God in His merciful goodness and wisdom always knows better than us. Her sweet soul is now with your Dad in Heaven and they are eternally happy together again.
Your cherished Mom was such a sweet, good and longtime friend of mine that there will always be a hole in my heart, but also wonderful memories of shared thoughts and special trusts between close friends.
I’ll keep you, your brother and your family in my prayers. Thank you from my heart for bringing us all the news —— very sad news. You’re a most wonderful daughter; so much like your Mom. You sure did her proud. (((((((Annie))))))))
I know from recent experience that the time between the decision and the body actually stopping can be rough. Hang in there, and never forget this is what she anticipated and wished.
You’re in my prayers.
I should have added, that I will light a candle for her at Mass tomorrow.
Please accept my condolences, Chantillie. She’s with her sweetheart in Heaven now, and they walk in beauty. Prayers up for you and your family.
Your mom and I talked many times. Her personality was larger than life, and her humor often had me laughing out loud. She will be sorely missed.
My deepest condolences to you and your family, and may God grant you peace and comfort. May your mom’s soul rest in peace. That this began on her wedding anniversary is so touching, I have no words.
God be with all of you.
So sorry to hear this news. May the Lord comfort you and your family, and grant her Eternal Rest.
REQUIEM aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.
May God bless and console you and your family in your bereavement. May He grant that your grief be comforted and your memories of your parents become joyful as He heals your hearts.
I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family right now. God bless and comfort you during this time of sadness.
Oh my, I just saw this thread. My prayers for your family, but I know that she is in a wonderful place. We on the other hand miss those that go before us. May God give you peace and comfort at this most difficult time. I don’t know how people who don’t know Him get through it. She will be missed here as well.
I have known several others who have gone to their Reward this year in the Christmas season. I think there is great joy up there as they arrive. I always imagine a massive party and celebration. On the other hand, when my own Mother passed away, altho I was sure where she was, I was still very sad, because I knew it would be a long time before I saw her again. God bless you.
I am so sorry. Prayers that you and your brother will find comfort in the knowledge that she is at Peace.
You and yours have the sympathy and prayers of myself and my family. God Bless you and comfort you.
My condolences and prayers for comfort for your family.

Prayers for the soul of Judith Ann and for you and the family.May you have the grace and peace your mother would want you to have.
She was such a good friend to me. I can’t say anything right now other than I am so sorry that your Mom had passed away. What a loss for all of us. Tears streaming down my face, unashamedly.
