It would be just awesome to find a couple of those. Sell one of them, and keep the other. I bet you could practically write your own check, assuming that some government wouldn’t be looking to confiscate it from you.

Knowing my luck, I would end up like the old farmer guy that was played by Stephen King in the movie “Creepshow”.

“Meteorite dealer Darryl Pitt, who sold a chunk to Herd, said he charges $11,000 to $22,500 an ounce and has sold most of his supply already. At that price, the new Martian rock costs about 10 times more than gold.”

“It’s scientifically invaluable,” Herd said. “These are really beautiful specimens. It’s a rare type, so fresh and aesthetically pleasing.”

I’d charge a lot more.

"How do they know for certain that the rocks came from Mars?"

It says right on the back "Made in Mars."

An uncivilized person might kiss it...

Not that different from kissing the Blarney Stone, which has been named the world's most unsanitary tourist attraction.

"I’d charge a lot more."

As would I! Such a thing is priceless. Literally one of the most rare objects on the Earth today. Having a piece of another planet just doesn't happen! lol

I’m an old man now, but the very first time I saw a picture of that Mecca mess I wondered what sexually suppressed Islamic decided the proper orifice for holding the black rock was an inverted vulva made of silver. Seems fitting that it resides in Saudi Arabia, where women are treated like royal pimples.
