So much for Matt being fair and balanced and showing just headlines and stories others will not...no...he has 14 stories front and center all anti-Newt right now.
No excuse for this...not even ABC/NBC/CBS have 14 anti-Newt stories on their front page.

He’s a sub for Rush sometimes, if the name sounds familiar.
He’s been all Ann Coulter on him from day one.

One time when I got “attacked”(55 vicious lib comments) for writing a Conservative editorial piece in a local paper, my writer friend from DC congratulated me and said that the nastier and greater the responses, the better..ie GOTCHA!
Newt has to be doing well in internals or we wouldn’t be having to deal with all of this negativity. Do you see Paul and Santorum taking any flak?

I don’t think Ann should talk about anyone flipflopping. Last Febuary at CPAC James and I were sittig right in front of Ann Coulter and she said, Christie should run for President because if Mitt Romney is ou?r nominee Obama will get four more years. Now she is all upset that Newt is being favored over Romney??
Why oh why can’t I get behind Newt, though? I really want to. The enemy of my enemies is my friend, right? But I am still scared of Newt as Pres. I know he could whip Obama’s tush. After that, I wince at Newt at the head of our government...
I felt the same. Until the townhall Newt did. Something I posted yesterday:

My own little island ruled half the planet for a reasonable while - because we believed we were exceptional (and wanted to get away from our miserable weather!) We were also the only empire in history that broke up without too much warfare.
America doesn’t want to rule the planet - I get that. But to stay true to itself, it needs to get back to it’s roots. Be honest - that is what you are fighting for and the person you need as your head of state should be one who is proud to be American. Proud of his or her country and countrymen. Palin has that. Perry has that. Gingrich has that.
I don’t care about past sins. Sins and transgressions can be forgiven, and if God forgives, which he does, I must do no less.

I believ e you when you say newt understands the heart and soul of America. I just worry that he will listen to it if it differs from what he thinks is best. I kind of wish perry was back in the race. But did you see today’s (to you yesterday’s) debate? Santorum did a great job. I consider him as having a last shot at the brass ring.

Thanks Mountain Mary! I forgot to mention Mark. I think he is a brilliant guy, but can be a little brittle at times. I like him, but don’t usually catch his show as I’m usually a “taxi driver” for my kids when he’s on.
However, I must say I really do like when he fires off his “get off the phone...” line!
