Due to bias shown by Matt Drudge I pledge to boycott the Drudge Report. Please pledge the same if you feel so inclined.
I’ve been bombing the “SEND NEWS TIPS TO DRUDGE” box on his website for days.

With valid tips and he’s not posting any of the stories or because you are angry and just bombing him?
Being destructive to his workplace (like throwing rocks through his business window) because the product isn’t liked, isn’t right, in my thinking.
Just skip over his product but being destructive isn’t right, even if he had a bogus story linked.
Sorry,but I visit Drudge many times a day, it’s how I found Free Republic which I love. Loosing the link from Drudge doesn’t help this site but isolates us. Bad idea by a few newt zealots hurts the majority of us , thanks.

Been going to Drudge daily since Clintons DNA showed up on a blue dress. (also been coming to FR daily since August 2000) Drudge is not only the internet news source, but the worlds news source in any media format. I have found him balanced over the years. I have seen lots of pro Newt stories just in the last week. Over the years, he has broken tons of stories about dems that no one else would touch. Until he made it news.
I thought conservatives were for free speech. Seems anymore than anything or anybody perceived “anti Newts” gets boycotted or ZOTTED.
I’ve been a paying member to FR since 2000. I thought this was the place for a free exchange of ideas? Is that not true anymore?

I have been here for a long time and respect the history and activity and the people through those year’s on FReeRepublic. I love FReeRepublic and want it to survive.

I don’t recall him calling anyone here gay, or calling for a boycott of FR.
I don’t like everything he does either (I hate the Alex Jones permalinks, for example), but character attacks and boycotts are completely over the top. Once again, we prove that we eat our own better than anyone.

Taking the link off isn’t isolating anyone... the people here who oppose boycotting Drudge, which I think everyone will agree won’t shut him down, but will be a show of conservative unity and strength, are like the democrat minority voters whom the democrats control because they have convinced them they have nowhere else to go. They believe Drudge is all they have... you don’t reward people for lying on you... you don’t stick with them when they act in an unprincipled manner.
BTW, those people who are showing the links currently on Drudge for pro-Newt stories, why do you think they are there NOW? And weren’t yesterday. Because people like us kept our mouths shut or didn’t raise our voices? I think it was because we stood up and exerted what little clout we have... and it needs to become a habit.
