he’s already said ‘no’ on providing eligibility documentation and justification... as he’s legally bound to do in order to be on the ballot. this is DIRECTLY related to his presidency and the qualifications for the job. THAT’S something joe 6-pack can relate to.

on top of that, the social security number he’s been using isn’t his. this links directly to identity theft... which people are afraid of and will cast him as the type of villain they have feared in their personal lives.

to pile on... there are the other 20+ social security numbers that have been found associated with his name and addresses over the years.

Actually Seaplaner is correct, the college records are a more pertinent indicator of Obamas citizenship status.

Not only was Obama born to parents of 2 different countries, he was adopted as a child by a man with a third nationality.

Children with multiple nationalities have to choose when they reach the age of majority [18] as to which country they will be recognized as a citizen of.

Obamas college records will show which citizenship he gave when he enrolled.......and THAT'S the one he's legally bound too.

a natural born citizen is someone that is 'naturally' a citizen, as there are no alternatives.

What birth certificate lists a parent's citizenship? The BCs I've seen only list parents' place of birth --and since parents filling out the information to be listed on their child's BC don't have to provide any actual proof of where they were born, they're free to enter whatever they wish into the field asking for their place of birth.

I think the word you are looking for instead of ignored is dismissed. Like it or not, the legal system views Wong Kim Ark as the guiding precedent.

Ankeny v. Governor of the State of Indiana reflects current legal consensus on NBC:

“based upon the language of Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are “natural born Citizens” for Article II, Section 1 purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents.”

Many here disagree and I respect their views but the idea that the judicial system will do a radical 180 on the issue is wishful thinking at best.

The PDF should never have been accepted as proof of anything, as it is not a tangible original document.

Even if it were to come from a legitimate original document, it is not the original legitimate document itself, nor is it an authorized, embossed issue from an authoritive source.

What slippery slope will we be headed down if our courts start accepting virtual evidence in place of real evidence?
