There’s a LOT of futility going to come more and more glaringly to light in the next 12 months.
1. Humankind is the best thing this planet has seen in the known universe, not to mention right here on this rock;
2. Humankind starts when the sperm impregnates the egg and starts to divide with particular DNA, chromosomes, genes, etc. Before that, the egg and sperm are little more than bacteria;
3. People argue when a fetus is viable. I say at the time it became a fetus. Look above for when it becomes such;
4. First semester, second semester, and third semester arguments are just that - arguments for those who don't accept the concept of humans being conceived once the male sperm and the female egg combine. Sorry libs, when you're pregnant, you're pregnant, and that means this is a growing person inside you;
5. I'm sick of the religious (my god is better than your god) argument. We need to realize that a human is created by US! It's so simple. Again, when the sperm with its DNA hits the Egg DNA and starts to multiply;
6. Let's go back to the semester thing. I challenge anyone to prove to me when human life begins after conception. What's the parameters? When the cells start to divide? What? Two, 20, 5,000, a million, a billions? When the heart starts beating (that's early)? When the brain forms to recognize sounds (as proven by studies)? When it is viable enough to exist outside the body? What? When? What week? Tell me.
None of you have no idea in your selfish simplistic thinking when a human becomes a human.
I know many are going read this and pray that I find religion in this debate, sorry, I'm an agnostic so that's a non-starter.
What I do know is that the human race is the best thing ever seen. While I hope there is something more, I believe that to kill an innocent human in the womb is probably the most atrocious act humanity can do. We fight brutal wars against each other, but at least that is men/women against each other who have fighting chance. A fetus in the womb has NO chance, I repeat, NO chance to fight for its existence.
For the liberal/progressive/greenie/Gaia types who don't get the above, think of pushing a knife in the head of a puppy-dog just before it comes out (as in late term abortions - would love to watch the horror of PETA if they actually saw that). Or, think of doing THAT to a baby seal that gets NO chance to even exist.
You liberal/progressive/socialist/commies are the bain of mankind. You claim you're supporting Planned Parenthood for the better of women, but somewhere down inside you know you are killing human beings.
Abortion is inhumane, period.

San Jose is hosting a Muslim indoctrination forum, where all the little kids are invited to hear a Muslim woman talk about all the glories of Islam. And some Muslim propaganda books will be for sale too. That’s how completely lost these liberals are; they hate Christians, but will coddle shariah like it was the same as secularism-—truely sad state we are.
I’m not catholic, but this has nothing to do with “being catholic” it’s about religious freedom, specifically the First Sentence of the First Amendment.

I retired about 10 years ago. I never had anyone tell me what I could or couldn’t say.
Like I said, that was 10 years ago.
Reading between the lines, I think there is now a huge push to make non-religious events be religion free, and the chaplains are pretty well able to be themselves in their own worship setting.
I do not believe that was the intent behind having chaplains. It certainly wasn’t George Washington’s intent.
