50% To 44% Margin…

Seems like we've remained close to the tipping point for so long, but we seem to be getting closer to the Titanic actually flipping and going belly up.

The next Obamacare mandate that Obama is going to push on the Catholic institutions is assisted suicide.

If Obama can force the Catholic Church to fund contraceptives and abortion pills, can assissted suicide be far behind?

If this is a CNN poll, the numbers are more likely 75% oppose.

Who gives a **** if they approve?! The damn thing is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

If there were journalists in this nation who really KNEW the Constitution, and the history of totalitarianism, the results of this poll would be very very different.

Sadly, the world of journalism is now populated with children who use “google” and “wikipedia” as authoritative resources and who couldn’t tell you who wrote the Federalist papers or tell you why Adam Smith is important.

These are kids who have been taught a “formula” to put together any given news item—and they regurgitate the pablum fed to them by academia.

RE: Americans Oppose Obama’s Contraception Mandate By 50% To 44% Margin…

The 44% is already worrisome. But the 6% who have no opinion on the issue, when added to the 44%, just shows that HALF of Americans don’t care about the the first amendment.

When half of this country have this attitude, it does not bode well at all.

I listen to all these talking heads supposedly supporting the Catholic position and they keep blowing it.

1. Damn it, it’s about forcing contraception on the Catholic Church and its ministries. It’s not about forcing contraception on the nation.

2. While it might not be considered cool by the real Catholics for everyone to be given free condoms and pills, the government forcing those things on the Church and its ministries is government forcing a Church to violate its own teaching.

It doesn’t matter how many Catholics like the doctrine of birth control any more than it matters how many Presbyterians like the doctrine of predestination.

The GOVERNMENT is not permitted to tell the Presbyterians they must be free will instead of predestination.

Friends, the GOVERNMENT is out of line when it tells the Catholic church is must support and offer contraception in violation of the Church’s own teachings.

Should they be handing out IUDs to nuns and rubbers to priests? Should altar boys have a bowl of condoms at the entryway? Should Catholic Ministries like hospitals, ALSO PART OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, be forced to distribute pills, abortion drugs, and coils to workers in Catholic settings?

Tell The Catholic League’s Donohue to buy a clue and quit talking about shell games with money.

A Catholic Hospital is CATHOLIC, just as much a part of Catholicism and attached to the Pope as is the local Catholic worship center.

This poll also shows what a moron Obama is. And I have never called a President that. I respect the office. But this guy just assumes that because a large percentage of Catholics have used birth control, they thinks it's fine for the government to infringe on religious liberty and the first amendment. The man can't reason. I bet half of the percentage that support him still think it's all about free pills.

I have two kids. Married 15 years. I'm Catholic. Do the math. I sinned against church teaching. I am admitting this freely. But keep the government out of my church!

These are Registered voters not even screened to see if they know what century it is. Hence, if you looked at Likely Voters the results would be at least 55%-45 against.

This is a LOSING proposition for Obama - and he should know it.

1st Amendment freedom is sacred to ALL Americans. Their feeling is going to be:

"IF he can do this to religious organizations, WHAT ELSE will he attempt to do in violation of the 1st Amendment?"

I think that this will ALSO affect the healthcare debate, with those who have not already made up their minds being swayed to vote AGAINST Obama in the election - STRICTLY based on government interference into their lives ...

And this is just the beginning. It will get worse for Obama and his Party.
Don’t listen to the lying media watch what Democrats up for election do. Casey, Larson and so on.
Even the CINOs will jump ship.

I think if the polling questioon has mentioned abortion drugs, the anti-HHS response would have been a lot higher. Really.

If the pubs would get out there and keep emphasizing how this administration wants to make contraception for free while insulin for diabetes costs $1200 a quarter....

....where is Boehner? where is McConnell? They weren’t on last week’s Sunday talk shows but maybe this coming Sunday?

Americans were never screaming that contraception should be given away for free but the pubs aren’t fighting back, as is their wont.
