Aloha Night Owl! ((HUGS))

Three test drives proves the repair. Stopping was just fine prior to the break in the line.....now it's back to normal, depending on my mood when a pedestrian darts out into traffic.

Don't know what the weather's going to do other than look over the horizon and guess. It's the days that the sky is covered with clouds from horizon to the volcano that are easiest to predict.

Beware the black ice in the morning...

Geez Connie, you always make me work at chatting....I didn't know what an Arnold Palmer was so I looked it up.

You'll be the first Lemonade Stand in Arizona the needs a liquor license. Hope you make a fortune before being busted.

Such a grueling commute today!

Any alternate routes you can use on occasion to be less grueling?

Gas is $3.76 at several stations I passed today.

Hope drugs are helping sonboy heal, as well as bouncing off the walls. Back injuries are no fun at all. Hope he's making progress, and helping constructively. LOL!

Hi, Kathy! (((hugs)))

Yep...the sales are done, but there are still charms to be
put on bracelets, so that’s keeping us busy.

It was a good sales week! :)

New projects can be very interesting. OT is good at times. Sounds like you are neck deep into it.

PT seems to be going well....good for you for working so hard.

I keep threatening to learn how my Dad’s treadmill works...maybe this weekend.

We are taking one day at a time. Got his earwax taken care of last Friday, but his finger stick showed him over his “number”. So an adjustment to his meds and another finger stick on Saturday, as well as the hearing test lady.

Typing on a screen so fuzzy I can’t see it...welcome to the Canteen, Boogieman, and thank you for sharing this performance by a wonderful young man. Didn’t need the government’s help at all. He knew what he wanted and worked to get it.

You’re welcome, I’m glad to share it, his story really moved me and humbled me too.

Unfortunately, it’s not true that he didn’t get any help from the government. When he reached high school-age, some people did help him get housing and some food allowance from the government, though it sounds like he was going to school, working as a laborer, and studying music in his spare time too. Considering his situation, though, I’m not going to be the first to throw stones at him for that.

Oh, and if you enjoyed that performance, you should look for his final performance on that show. If you thought the first on was good, see how much better he performed a few weeks later, when he was feeling more confident.

They should have taken care of him when he was 5. Glad to hear he finally got some help just living day-to-day.

A Senior Moment

Several days ago as I left a meeting at our church, I desperately gave
myself a personal TSA pat down. I was looking for my keys. They were
not in my pockets. A quick search in the meeting room revealed
nothing. Suddenly I realized, I must have left them in the car.

Frantically I headed for the parking lot. My wife, Diane, has scolded
me many times for leaving the keys in the ignition. My theory is the
ignition is the best place not to lose them. Her theory is that the
car will be stolen. As I burst through the doors of the church, I
came to a terrifying conclusion. Her theory was right. The parking
lot was empty. I immediately called the police. I gave them my
location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car, and that it
had been stolen.

Then I made the most difficult call of all, “Honey,” I stammered. I
always call her “honey” in times like these. “I left my keys in the
car, and it has been stolen.”

There was a period of silence. I thought the call had been dropped,
but then I heard Diane’s voice, “Ken,” she barked, “I dropped you
off!”

Now it was my time to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, “Well, come and get me.”

Diane retorted, “I will, as soon as I convince this policeman I have
not stolen your car!”
